5,000 to 1,000 players in the first 3 months, 1000 to less than 100 players on avg at 1.5 years. The Dev was active and responding to like every single post and review on reddit, trying to save the game, super respectable, but the balance has never been right. A couple of my friends played as well, we're huge warcraft custom mode players, thought it would just be a fun tower defense game. They had the same issues and surprise it's not that fun or replayable after about 20-40 hours, I think that's even the average playtime of anyone who didn't refund, maybe less. I got my worth out of it, some parts were enjoyable, but getting to the end of meta progression you are hit in the face with the fact that only a few lucky builds will get to passed wave 28-30, the difficulty ramps beyond your control around then and the game immediately becomes unfun. That's the worst part, that you put all this time into it, to play a game that is not very completable, and I don't mean like Dark Souls diff, I mean, you are fine one second, the next you have a 0.0000% chance to succeed. I even followed a few build guide from 'top ranked' players on abusing economy from turns 1-10, and while they help…

I've not even played 2 hours and I am already uninsterested. I think the worst part is that the progession feels lackluster. I play the same strat at the beginning and get by preety far into the game and die because i didn't upgrade a couple of towers.

Amazing tower defense game. Its challenging, but also has a roguelite element which has permanent progression to climb the difficulty wall. The end result is some very satisfying synergies while still havent an adequate difficulty curve. I fully recommend this game!
