This is a short horror game by indie dev Ricardo Pratas. It is his second game, and this one is much better than his first one. I enjoyed playing this one, and a few of the jump-scares actually got me. When I started up this game for the first time, the language was set to German. However, since I can not read German, it took me a few minutes to figure out how to switch it to English. You play as Emily, an eight year old girl, in third-person view. Your mother had gotten sick and died a while back. Then, one night while riding in the car with your dad, there was a bad car accident. Emily narrates all this in the intro cutscene, but the music was so darn loud that I could not really hear her. Thank God there was text on the screen so that I could read what she was saying. You "wake up" in a hospital bed, but it is not real. It is not clear whether you are medically dead, in a coma, or just currently unconscious, but you are definitely having an out-of-body experience. As soon as you leave your hospital room to look for your dad, you are thrust into a nightmare which is dark, surreal, and challenging. You cannot defend yourself, but you have stealth. 1 found this helpful
not a bad free game but some frustrating paers. Controls were awfull, Lighting was bad in a lot of areas and tyou didn't get a flashligh. No settings to adjustr brightness. Having to navigate a darkroom with swinging battle axes was difficult. There was a light above your head but it wasn't help ful in this area. At least I didnt die in this room. Took me 1h 12 to finish so not too bad. Game length is approx 1 hour. I thought it would rake me longer so I wsa happy to finish in 1h 12. The cave was dark and the prison cells were dark and hard to see. An OK game if youi have a spare hour. The voiceover is hard to tell as its ghostly so you have to read the subs but even they are tiny and hard to read. Ifd you have a spare hour give this game a go. It's not the best horror game in the world but worth playing. It's free so give it a go.
wow
Really great game, I loved it. The controls were a bit wonky but the story-line made up for it! The game was a bit dark but nothing terrible that I couldn't navigate around in the end.
