Fun little minimalistic strategy game. I finished all of the currently available challenge levels. On a very basic level, its like a lot of Risk clones I've played, with a few major changes: 1). No luck. Attackers kill defenders 1 to 1. 2). Supply chains exist. If an army is cut off from a capital, 1 troop in each cut off territory dies. A lot of the strategy in the game is strategically cutting off armies to do more than proportional damage to the enemy. There's workshop support for custom maps. Lots of potential for more game play time here. The only MP available is through LAN and hot seat though, no online. Easily worth the $3 it goes for.

Love the art style; gameplay, at least in the first few levels, was pre-kindergarten. Would love to see it get worked on more.

It is a nice little strategy game, with interresting mecanisms. And it looks loke much love has been given to the game, with nice features such as a replay mode, puzzles, achievments, custom map in the workshop... But somehow it is not as fun as I wish it would be. Maybe is the AI not competent enough ? Maybe could one or 2 more game mecanism have been added ? But it is worth the try

The game is trivially solvable, but I'd still love to see more like this made (although much more complex)

Found it quite uninspired and un-enjoyable. Played few levels, and there just didn't seem to be much to it.

Numeral Lord is a fun and simple strategy game. In it's current state, there is plenty of content and this is a great and relaxing way to kill time or your youtube backlong. Challenge Mode: Puzzle level packs made by the developer. I SERIOUSLY recommend 3 staring level pack 1. Once you do, you've demonstrated a very solid mechanical understanding of the game. Tournament Mode: Randomly generated themed levels against AI. Great way to kill time Editor: CREATE YOUR OWN LEVELS! I just kinda treat this as a second Tournament Mode, really. And that's all I've played. That's right I haven't played "Hot Seat" (Multiple people, 1 computer), "Lan Game" (Multiplayer on home network), or Workshop. Regardless I feel like the game is already worth the price. Maybe that's a stretch, but if they actually get around to adding Multiplayer the game would be 100% worth it. (Although I will say some of the skins make the numbers hard to see.)
