About Numeral Strike
Features:
- A unique combat system unlike any other rogueliteUse the number grid to perform actions — find matching pairs or pairs that add up to 10. Every valid pair lets you attack, heal, defend, or trigger powerful special effects.
- A variety of unique foes to faceEnemies shape the battlefield as much as you do! Each one demands thoughtful tactics and a fresh approach to win. Get ready for true duels against the most cunning villains!
- Chapter-based structureNo more losing all your progress in a single long run — this roguelite takes a different path! The game is divided into chapters, each with its own unique theme. One chapter pits you against goblins, the next throws you into battle with the undead, and later — with deadly mages. With each chapter, enemies grow stronger and offer new kinds of challenges. And your progress is saved between chapters!

Players appreciate this roguelike puzzle game's charming presentation with adorable enemy designs, good music, and humor, alongside satisfying strategic gameplay mechanics like armor stacking and tile-recovery relics. However, critics feel the game is underdeveloped with limited content, shallow item variety that doesn't significantly change strategy, and relatively boring enemy encounters until late game, making it feel more like a mobile time-filler than a deep experience worth replaying, though many acknowledge the core concept has strong potential.
A fresh addition to rougelike genre that challenges your skill at planning turns ahead. At first I was discouraged by a verbose tutorial, but it gave me all the understanding I needed to enjoy the rest of the gameplay. Things I liked: - music - humor - adorable enemy designs - relics that recover tiles (not sure how OP they are in reality but they made me chain a lot of stuff which is SUUUUUPER satisfying) - base class (armor stacking is one of my favorite strategies in any game so I glad I could do this here) Things I liked not so much - Felt like english description of items could be rephrased/reworked to reduce cognitive load, although if the enemy pool is stable that quickly stops being an issue - Timer based events. There are not so many of them, but I went from chilling mode to cortisol spike mode because of them. It was fun the way it is designed (really unique, but I don't want to spoil it here), but I really don't want to rush in a game about deep thinking Managed to finish some chapters on gold first try, will try to do the same for other chapters and see if my opinion on the game changes. Seems like a lot of stuff keeps unlocking as I go so there's a lot to play wi…8 found this helpful
Concept seemed fun, just isn't really in practice, gives the feel of a mobile game you'd play for five minutes here and there when you didn't have anything better to do.4 found this helpful
2 found this helpful
