Nyanco Card

Following after the end of the previous game Nyanco Dream, we have the continuation of the story of the young cat girl Nyanco, in her explorations through the universe of Touhou after we crossed a portal in the previous game that sent us to this world instead of back home. This time our protagonist needs to find magic cards in order to open a new portal and return back to her original world. ^^ However, not everything will be so easy, as many of the cards were stolen and are now with several people around the world, becoming a very popular game where the objective is to end up with more cards than the opponent. This can be done by the fact that each of the cards has four numbers, one for each of the directions going from 1 to 10. When a card is placed on the board, if the value of your card facing the opponent is higher than his, the opponent's card becomes yours. If the value is equal or less nothing will happen. The game continues until the board containing nine squares is full, the winner is whoever owns the most cards at the end, marked as red for the opponent and blue for the player, all of this will sound familiar for those who have played Triple Triad on FFVIII, along with …

Why is it fanmade games almost always end up being awesome? I know nothing of Nyanco, or what these characters really are. However, this game was a spitting image of a card game in a video game I really loved, in 'Final Fantasy 9' is a card game called 'Tetra Master'. This card game is VERY SIMILAR. Though it has more easier to understand mechanics, it's very fun. You place cards to take over cards and the person with the most cards ownership at the end wins. I'm a huge fan of card games and this ones worth it, especially since I got it for under a dollar on spring sale. Game itself is sort of small, an open area world you wander about to challenge people to duels and shops to buy/sell cards, etc. Is small but the card game does seem to have like a hundred different cards.

Barrei com esse jogo do nada e me surpreendi com o que eu vi. O jogo é um fangame de 東方project, com estilo de jogo baseado em jogos de cartas com as personagens da franquia. Assim, não tenho muito do que falar sobre o game, além dele ser viciante e divertido. Foi mó daora lutar contra todo mundo e bolar estratégias para vencer as oponentes, sem mencionar que as cartas são bem bonitinhas e é divertido coleciona-las. O tempo de jogo vai variar do quão rápido você vai derrotar os oponentes para pegar todas as insígnias das líderes para poder zerar(que vai por mim, não é tão fácil assim não rs). Minhas considerações finais: O jogo é barato e fica mais barato nas promoções, então se você curte Touhou e jogos de cartas, acredito que vá gostar desse, é um bom passa tempo.

When you lose a match the opponent gets to choose one of your cards. This seems a bit pointless as you can just re-load the game at that point. It would make more sense as a single-save game that auto-saves when you lose a match. I also found the combo rules too confusing.

You start off as Nyanco, a cat girl who somehow got transported to the realm of Touhou's Gensokyo, where only to find out that there is no way to re-open a portal back home. Thus it seems much of Gensokyo has taken to a liking of a numbers based card game addiction. And it is Nyanco who must meet many of these touhou characters to claim badges and eventually keep a promise. [h1] Gameplay [/h1] The game is primarily card related which is much like an old fashioned style of card dueling against other characters and the winner gets to pick out one of the losing sides cards. Whats interesting about the system is the opponet has their own form of inventory as much as the player does which means they can also use your own cards they won from you against you in consecutive duels unless of course you win it back or even take another one of their rarer cards :3 This is a relatively fair system as the player is also able to do the same with opponets, therefore there are no player buffs towards ai, nor ai buffs against the player.
