Players are divided on this game. Those who enjoy it appreciate the automation, coding, and town-building mechanics with a forgiving death system, though some note the grinding requirements and find it better suited to younger audiences. However, significant complaints center on technical issues including frequent crashes and corrupted save files that undermine the experience, along with criticisms that the automation, coding, and combat systems lack sufficient depth compared to similar games.
Eh it's "ok". Definitely more of a kids game, so a kid would enjoy it more. I'd give it a 4/10 my self. Much grind, much automation needed. But if I were a kid, I'd probably give it a 7/10. Some people complain about inventory drop on death. Meh, I grew up on 3 lives then game over back to the start of the game. This game? you keep your hotbar and gear. Much more forgiving compared to Minecraft. Just remember to throw down portals every now and then, and the death runs are only a few minutes at most. The fighting is simple, and easy if you grind for the gear properly. If you wanted depth with the automation, it only comes from the programming light. Which can be optimized with just a bit of extra fiddling. Where as resource management math is the name of the game for most other automation type games. This one? You can just ignore that part and just brute force much of the automation into stages. The story and character customization rather token, but it's also 20 bucks. Cuts will be made somewhere.2 found this helpful
I love this s--t. Almost as great a game as Autonauts. It's fun to program little homies to do stuff for you. The game also includes some basic programs for all your homies, so if you don't want to get into programming you can use the premade programs to still get things done. There's nothing they do that you can't also do. The only downside is the homies could use some more cosmetics to tell them apart. A lot of the hats in the game are very much not related to any of the crafts being accomplished. I'd recommend at least a 20–30% Steam discount since there's not much of a story to it. It's essentially "go kill the boss to unlock the next tier of crafting stations and materials". The building and decoration side of the game is pretty solid. Lots of different structure and decor pieces to use, once they're unlocked through the "story".
Great Game
This game's a 10/10! Lots of fun, lots of levels and lots of coding logic learning. If you want a cozy little progress and programming experience I think you'd like it. Well worth it, and hope they make another one in the future.
Automation, coding, and adventuring sounds perfect for my tastes in games. Unfortunately all 3 of those are subpar in this title.
Trash - Corrupted save file after LESS than 6 hours. Start over? No, way better options out there
Love this game. The opportunities to build your dream little towns the way you want it are limitless. Enjoy!
