Long corridors with aliens
Shooter with a bunch of foot soldiers. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2835878913
STORY
Aliens have taken over different locations. We need to save people.
GAMEPLAY
The gameplay is a shooter with the exploration of large locations. True, there are seven of them in total (including the training one). The original idea in the game is that we have, as it were, a detachment of soldiers, between which it is necessary (the soldiers have something like fatigue and it will be very difficult to play alone) to switch. Each warrior has its own dimensions and weapons used. Fighters can be developed as they gain experience. There are incredibly many enemies, as well as rooms with corridors in which you can get lost. You can destroy the "dens" of monsters, then they will become smaller. Consider the pros and cons of the game, sum up.
PROS:
+ Simple but nice graphics. + Good music and sound accompaniment. + Many types of soldiers with different weapons. + Many types of enemies and generally a lot of them. + Large locations to explore.
WHAT CAN BE BOTH A PLUS AND A MINUS:
+ - The locat…28 found this helpful
EDIT: Developer increased the speed of all characters, and reduced the time required to repair the holes in the floor and destroy the spawners. This speeds up the experience and makes it more enjoyable. My Experience I'm already a pretty big fan of top-down shooters, so Omega Squad was on my radar shortly after its release. Although the game is obviously low budget, the "squad management" aspect of the game was something I hadn't seen before and made the game stand out a bit from the crowd. While I did appreciate the variety of weapons and abilities that I had access to by switching from one member of the squad to another, the squad mechanic became tiresome for me by the end of the game. Each squad member has a separate "fatigue meter" that builds as you play. Although I never let the meter completely fill with any of my squad members, presumably it would hinder their effectiveness if I were to let this occur. Therefore, you are encouraged by developer AstroMonkey to continually switch from one soldier to another and let each recover. Instead of making me appreciate the unique weapon and skills of each soldier, I just found it tedious having to continually monito…1 found this helpful
Follow my curator page, Skeletons-play-Video-Games-too. if you like and want to see more reviews like this one.
The Cons The spread isn't the flashlight conal width that you see, but instead that thinnest red line in the center of that, threw me off guard for the first few shots but otherwise adjusted quickly. The Pros Music is pretty good. it fits the atmosphere of the game really well along side the sound effects. The art direction/Graphics is a good choice really for such a title, and the tank controls are extremely nostalgic. Ending remarks If you enjoy that isometric pre win 98 playing on your school computer in shop class vibe, this is the title for you.1 found this helpful
A shooter heavily influenced by the Alien Breed games. While I would have preferred the tutorial to be included into the main game, i appreciate the fact that the developer has included it at all (as a separate mission, accessible from the main menu). The choice of the "stamina" factor is interesting, since it forces you to use different team's characters (each of them with different weapon and perks). I've only reached the second level, but so far my eyes like what Astromonkey created. The game has its flaws, of course, for example i'm not fond of the control system which makes almost completely impossible to avoid enemy bullets (if you play with mouse and keyboard, i haven't tested the gamepad yet) or being hit by enemies spawning from nests you are destroying. It is still an enjoyable game, especially for those like me who are fans of the genre.1 found this helpful
Has more pixels than Vampire Survivors. Would play again 10/10.
pretty game, fair and balanced mechanics for those looking for a challenge. it has fewer bugs than cyberpunk.
