About Once Upon The Universe
Once Upon The Universe is a new take on a classic god-game formula, taking you to the very VERY beginning of creation. You begin the game just seconds after the big bang, with nothing but an empty space and a lot of super hot hydrogen in the entire universe. The little beings that might later occupy some of that space might not be initially aware of your presence - make sure they know who do they owe all of that wonderous creation.

- Use the gravity and other "anomalies" to directly (and in-directly) form stellar objects from available matter
- Stabilize and optimize orbit, rise water level and create biosphere to allow life to take its very first breath

- Make the civilizations aware of your presence - the Creator

very interesting blend between an interactive evolution sim like The Fermi Paradox or Spore, passive artificial-life sim elements reminiscent of the Bibites or Conways game of life, and the control offered by god games like The Universim or From Dust. super barebones, but if the idea of a game that takes a bit from each of those genres intrigues you then it's worth the price3 found this helpful
at the time of rating, it seems the dev has been putting alot of work into this game. the dev puts out updates frequently, he/she is clearly dedicated to this game. its very playable and fun even though its early in development2 found this helpful
I'm a huge fan of god games and evolution sims so this game has been a blast so far. Definitely has a lot of potential and so far what's there is pretty solid. Feels like the main framework of the game is there and what is there makes me excited for what's next. Edit: Wanted to add that at this point its really feeling like the fun I had with sim earth but its just on a galactic scale, its damn sim universe to an extent.2 found this helpful

Tried to play god, got my first star, and then it popped. Okay, got a stable star going! ..aaaand then I promptly popped all the rocky planets around it. What else is godhood but trial and error, it's not like the universe was created in 7 days, after all. Addictive already, looking forward to all the future additions.1 found this helpful
