✦ AI summary

Players praise the cute cat customization and visually appealing aesthetic, but are overwhelmingly frustrated by the game's punishing difficulty combined with sparse checkpoints that create grueling, repetitive sections. Technical issues plague the experience on certain systems, and the core movement mechanics feel imprecise and unfair rather than challenging in a fair way, making the difficulty feel arbitrary rather than skill-based.

I really want to like this platformer/parkour game. It is visually pleasing, I love how the cat looks, that it's cute and you can customise it. At first I thought it was going to be a casual, relaxing experience - you know, it's a cutesy cat and all. But, oh dear, was I wrong! So, be warned: this game is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT and the developer meant it to be that way. Quoting: "this is a rage game and will be extremely difficult"; "it is going to be way too difficult for some people as it is designed to be an extremely challenging precision platformer, it takes a lot of patience and practice to overcome the challenges and become skilled with the movement". There are 6 chapters but only 6 permanent checkpoints (save points) throughout the game, which are only accesible in Casual or Practice mode (and, yes, you will have to complete the game to unlock Practice mode). I do find the movement somewhat wonky, the cat seems to fall very easily, and turning around feels like operating a semi-truck (exaggerated, of course). :D According to the developer it is a short game, lasting around 1 hour for extremely skilled players. However, for the rest of us ... maybe it takes forever? At t…

This might actually be the embodiment of a terrible game. The movement in this game is so jank with it's "3 points of contact" law, which the game's geometry itself doesn't accommodate for. You can do a running jump or a stationary jump which honestly feels like it's not up to you resembling the movement of Hello Neighbor. The game gets really hard or as I call it, "unfair" (there's a difference!) at a point you can realistically get to 4 minutes in but will likely take you around 8. So why should I be expected to micromanage my jumps using a terrible lackluster movement system not even 10 minutes into being handed the controls. The graphics don't take your mind off of it. They're going for realistic but accomplished a default lighting engine look which is so unoptimized and should run way better than it does. This game lacks soul and care. There's a mechanic where if you want to jump down an object you walk to the edge and walk off said object, letting the cat jump off. I tried that RIGHT BEFORE a checkpoint but I guess my cat thought I wanted to stand on a very thin, less than an inch thick pole and realized it only had 2 legs on "the ground" and decided to kill itself and r…

Chapter 2 needs another savepoint, keep having to replay the same chapter because its too long for the amount of effort. Suggestion to put your own checkpoints in casual mode. Otherwise cool platformer with funny ragdoll physics.

Bought the game, enjoyed till I got to chapter 2. After rejoining realized that the permanent checkpoints between chapters are permanent ONLY for the current session. TERRIBLE experience and player guiding. I regret the wasted time and money and anyone reading that will regret to. I understand this is a ragebait game released at 1st of April, but this is the wrong way to create an experience. Absolute garbage of a game btw overall :D
