This game is truly amazing to me. The story is amazing and well done, the artwork is gorgeous, and the characters are well-developed. Sadly, Big Fish Games decided not to continue the series and last game wasn't published. Pros: + Music and sound effects + Hidden object scenes + Voiceovers4 found this helpful
I admit I had no idea this game was part of a series, I brought it on a whim because Autumn is my favorite season. Why I had no experience with the previous titles, I will say that I had no problem following the story. While I admit I really wasn't that attached to Fiona, it didn't effected the rest of the game. The puzzles in this game are actually pretty fun! They varied in difficulty, but I actually enjoyed solving and completely each one because they were incredible unique, and I was surprised the game was old as it was. The graphics are actually good for it's age. Also as someone who loves mythology, fairy tails, and folklore, I am awed the level of research and knowledge that creators put into making it accurate. Even more obscure creatures like selkies, kelpies, and many others are featured here. I was saddened that the series was never completed, and from what I saw it seemed that it was very well recieved and popular. It is a shame the series was never finished, especially when it seems a lot of care and thought went into it. But I still recommend it. As someone who has no previous knowledge of the first two games, it was still a wonderful and fun experience.3 found this helpful
Third part of the Otherworld trilogy. It directly continuous the story of the two predecessors. If you liked those, you’ll like this one. It’s a shame that Boomzap Entertainment axed the conclusion: Otherworld: The Eternal Winter.
Good, entertaining game.
At nearly 6 hours, this title is longer than most, despite the lack of bonus game. This is the old-school style of HOG and is done to perfection. The artwork and storytelling were excellent. Don't be fooled by the small installation size, this title has everything it needs. Highly recommended! The games and puzzles were very enjoyable too.
wasnt cheesy and had to good time for start to finish, had a map with travelling which added to enjoying and being able to figure out where youve been
