Our Home, My Keeper

(This strongly needs a neutral option for sure.) I haven't read much ebi-hime, so I'm not sure how she contributed to this, but what I got out of this is that it's pretty standard Studio Elan fare. You've got a strong, independent lesbian writer trying to find inspiration for her next book, and she finds it in a literal brownie fairy named Faye. There's some nonsense about how evil imps are trying to control her and Violet and how Faye keeps them at bay while she's trying to sort out her issues. The drama with Violet is overblown and the way it is resolved is beyond unbelievable/also quite childish. It's all solved with a little bit of pixie dust much in the same way events got resolved in "Heart of the Woods." There were some elements I did like though. The fact that she fell in love with a possessed doll is really quite interesting, and there's also the impact of her experience on how she would later write a successful children's book later in the VN. It had a lot of potential as a serious story if they had taken it a little more seriously than a fairy tale themselves. (When I say "they," I'm talking about the writers). 6.5/10 cute and sweet! the art and presentation here is amazing. this VN has a pretty interesting story, but a too rushed romance/relationship; omitting parts I would have loved to see: the protagonists daily lives, them exploring London, the brownie/doll aspect etc, thus the lower rating. because of that, and the overall short length, I don't think this VN is worth the full price. i'd recommend buying it once it's maybe 50% off, unless you really wanna support the devs, which yes you wanna, because yuri!!!

A quality Visual Novel, as usual. Nice length, doesn't overstay its welcome. It is kinetic (with no choices), but I still quite enjoyed the story, odd as I find it. The art is beyond gorgeous, and fitting, too. Not much else to say, other than urging you to Start reading!

Shoutouts to Niamh, I'd read a whole VN just about her

A pleasant visual novel overall. Similarly to one of ebi-hime game I played not that far ago, Our Home, My Keeper gives a vibe of modern fairy tale, with a rather classical setup entwined with a very up to date storytelling. As usual with ebi-hime/Studio élan work, I liked the visuals and the musical atmosphere. The story in its isn't revolutionary but does the job finely, although the three-act pacing is a bit unequal with the second act of the story being rather short compaired to the first act and the third act. Recommended if you want a cute yuri fairy tale with absolutely no evil in it. Muh-huh-huh...
