OUTBREAK
the more guns the better My name is G0disPink and I have a YouTube channel where I play and upload my first experience with a game unedited. Most of my videos are 20 to 30 minutes in length and this is my critique from my short time with the game. Similarities From

Yet Another Zombie Defense HD
Zombie defender games
Tower defense games
The Good

Different tiers of turrets to build
Several different guns to use
Solo developer
The Bad

Unit/structure collision feels clunky
Zombies are bullet sponges
Audio level unbalance
Final Opinion Good not great. The concept is there... build your turrets and make sure they don't get blown up. Keep them reloaded and watch them mow down enemies. The turret sounds are LOUD, especially when you get 4 or 5 of them going at once. The game needs more turret options, better "vision" for the turrets (turrets sometimes don't see enemies in front of them) and I feel like the church windows should be something you could shoot through. Lastly, the guns are extremely underwhelming... the hardest wave is wave 1 when you can't afford a…4 found this helpful
I can say that I enjoyed the game more than I expected. Building defenses and trying to survive while the zombie pressure kept increasing was quite fun for me. The dynamic lighting on the map is also a nice detail, because there were moments when I had to decide whether to spend my resources on my weapon, build a barricade, or place lights to see better. Since the mechanics are quite simple, I got used to the game quickly and focused completely on surviving. Overall, I can say that I enjoyed it; the gameplay could become a bit more dynamic over time, but I still definitely recommend the game.2 found this helpful
I went into this game not expecting much, but it ended up being a really enjoyable experience. The atmosphere is nice, and the feeling of being alone while defending against waves of zombies keeps the tension high. The shooting and building mechanics are simple but work well together, which makes the gameplay easy to learn but still engaging. I especially liked setting up defenses and trying to survive as long as possible while the pressure keeps increasing. Overall, it’s a fun and straightforward game, and I definitely recommend giving it a try.2 found this helpful
One of the details I really liked in the game is the lighting system. Lighting up the dark areas of the map doesn’t feel like just a visual effect; it’s something you actually feel while playing. Dealing with zombies coming out of the darkness while trying to secure illuminated areas creates a nice sense of tension and atmosphere. The gameplay itself is easy to understand and quick to get into, but as the waves progress and the zombie pressure increases, placing your defenses in the right spots becomes more important. The mechanics are simple but still fun, and it’s easy to lose track of time while saying “just one more wave.” The lighting system also feels like something that could be expanded even further with more strategic uses or different light types. Even in its current state the game is enjoyable and shows clear potential as it continues to develop.1 found this helpful
