About OveRRooT
A sophisticated malware created with a sole objective: bypass the defenses of malfunctioning computer systems by erasing their cyberspace, in order to reset them to their default state and bring them back to life again. Now it's time for you to take on a new job, in a new system. Nothing more than just the same old routine... probably. Enemies are fragile and can be erased in one single hit, but so are you, malware; you must wipe out every single defences in an area, in order to proceed to the next one. If you fail, iterate and try again. You are equipped with various abilities (or functions, if you prefer); a good malware knows how to use each tool at its disposal, to be as efficient as possible during combat. Jump, dodge attacks, deflect bullets, throw your trusty scythe. Do everything in your power to complete your tasks.

A nice game held back by some level design and AI behavior choices. The game is at its best when you get to go fast, by chaining kills, parrying hits and dashing like a madman chasing the next enemy. Unfortunately some levels actively slow the pace by either placing too many traps next to each other, or enemies on the traps, forcing you to wait or to drop down toward enemies not in vision that kill you without much space of avoiding them (if not by just redoing the level and remembering that there will be an enemy there). AIs seeing me from a screen away feels cheap and causes random deaths that I personally hated. Overall, the game's worth the price and it's a nice addition if you liked KatanaZero.3 found this helpful
A perfect game for someone who wants a very challenging but rewarding experience: great artstyle, interesting story and smooth gameplay.3 found this helpful
I was initially drawn to this game for the concept, and I was pleasantly surprised by the level of polish it offers. The fast-paced and challenging gameplay keeps you on your toes, making every victory feel earned. This game is perfect for spending a few hours completing levels casually, but it truly shines when you push yourself in try-hard mode. Mastering the levels and attempting speedruns to achieve the best scores adds a whole new layer of engagement and replayability. If you’re a fan of action platformers and love a good challenge, this game is definitely worth your time! Highly recommended!3 found this helpful
I know it's certainly overused these days but this the definition of a "Hidden Gem". I came across this game from browsing the Tron subreddit, looks like the devs were promoting it over a year ago and somehow I missed it. As a massive Tron fan and a fan of platformers, this game did not disappoint. The Visuals are beautiful, the gameplay is challenging but very addictive, and the soundtrack is amazing (it's a crime that its' not sale on Steam). Story is also really solid, if you're into finding all the secret text logs and reading up on the lore of the game. I only collected a few but they provided enough background material for me to follow along with the rest of the game. Overall, an easy recommendation, probably my favorite game I've stumbled across this year (2025).1 found this helpful
Insane gem I found hidden into Steam's archives. Incredibily polished graphics, great and challenging gameplay, super satisfying to play, awesome music. It has it all! Super worth it!1 found this helpful
