What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players appreciate the game's nostalgic charm and creative premise involving a dirty sock adventure, with some finding it entertaining for kids and enjoying the Pajama Man trading cards feature. However, many criticize significant performance issues including low frame rates and animation cuts, while series fans note it lacks the memorable characters, engaging mini-games, and compelling storytelling of previous entries, making it the weakest installment despite occasional technical success when it does run.
Well... The game's animation is severely cut, resulting in a horribly low FPS and a very poor viewing and playability. However, the developer's company had essentially already disbanded by then, so it's no surprise the game turned out so strange.1 found this helpful
Great game, I've been playing it since I was a kid and always have enjoyed it.
If you're looking for a good blast of nostalgia, here you go or a good game for your kid
it's a fun game
I love this game I like how inspiring it is. It introduces you to Pajama Man trading cards. Also I love how a dirty sock tells a story and Sam helps the sock get clean on an adventure.
If you can get it working, I think its an interesting entry. But by far the worst of the series, no memorable characters, no fun mini games, and the story is severely lacking compared to before. If you like Pajama Sam, I'd say try it at least once and then never come back to it. I used to have this as a kid and even then I could've told you this one wasn't as good as the others.
