Probably one of the weakest Junior Arcade titles from Humongous Entertainment It's bad for several reasons, it's very boring and frustrating, not in a satisfying hard way, but in a "how did I get hit there?" way. Yeah, the hitboxes are just way too big, in the second world, you can clearly dodge the train sign, and yet you get hit and lose a life. And the gameplay is just too repetitive, all you do is collect a few items(the bottom left one's) to progress forward to the next level, and try to dodge 90% of the objects, because you immediately lose a life for hitting em(unless it's water based objects like steam) The worst part has to be that you can't quit, and return later to finish the run and reach last levels, in other spin-offs by H.E., you could get tired of Ballonorama or Sock Works, and come back tomorrow to finish it, but not here. And dodging objects isn't all that simple due to poorly done hitboxes, and how sometimes the game throws a ton of them at you, so you can't even play this game while watching a video or listening to a podcast. It's a cute, lovely, little game, but it's so simple and outdated that I can't recommend it to children. However, a deep gratitude to the developers for their positive contribution to our childhood!
I tried to write a negative review and the boat came to my house and drowned me in the 2D river. 10/10
i had this as a kid and i had fun with it then. but trying to play it now...wow this is bad. boring repetitive gameplay and the bonus levels are so bad they're not even worth playing. repetitive annoying dialogue. fun for about 5 minutes, if that.
