[b]Paper 2 - Origami Refolded[/b] is a fun puzzle game where you have to fold paper to get a certain shape. That's basically it :) [h3]Basic info[/h3] ⭐️ As usual, you begin with simple stuff and then move to harder challenges. As you progress, you unlock new features so that the folding progress becomes easier — for example, you can turn on the grid and edge snapping when folding. ⭐️ There's no timer, and you can undo any action by simply clicking a button. ⭐️ If you're stuck on a level, the game will suggest a hint. ⭐️ To complete the level, you have to achieve at least 90% accuracy. You can use special features to achieve it easier, but I've found that even without them 100% is pretty doable. ⭐️ The game has a hard mode; just in case you're a completionist and also an origami master. In this mode there are no hints and no snapping. Also it's harder to achieve 100% accuracy. ⭐️ There are 20 achievements and for one of them you have to beat the hard mode. ⭐️ Gamepads are supported! I've tried the game on Steam Deck and it runs perfectly. But in my opinion playing with the mouse is easier, so it might be better to switch your Deck to mouse mode. I'm a fan of games which y…

Nice balance between challenge and relaxation: early perks and helpful hints make it accessible, while the later puzzles will still give puzzle enthusiasts something to chew on. The premise is simple. You’re given a beautiful, colored piece of paper and a target shape to achieve by folding. The challenge is that you only have a limited number of moves to make it happen. Folding is as easy as pulling from the corners or sides of the paper. While perfection isn’t required, you’ll need to do your best to earn enough stars to unlock new puzzle packs. The maximum you can earn per level is three stars, which adds a touch of challenge without feeling punishing. Stars also serve another purpose — unlocking helpful perks to make your folding journey a bit smoother. These perks are unlocked early in the game, well before you encounter the more devious and complex puzzles. For instance, you can unlock the ability to freely play any level within a pack. Without this perk, you’re forced to tackle levels in order, which can be frustrating if you’re stuck on a particularly tricky puzzle. 100% worth a play! The game is challenging and satisfying!

Compared to Paper 1, Paper 2 is better graphically optimized and has more polished accessibility and snapping tools for ease of folding (in normal mode). However, I personally found many of the folds too easy with the 'checkpoint' system. Hard mode is not hard, it's an annoyance. The hard mode levels are not even new, they are the same as the normal mode levels (which you have already solved because hard mode is only unlocked with a 100% normal mode save). The snapping tools are disabled, making it more of test of your mouse motor skill ability than puzzle solving. A much better hard mode would have been new levels, and alike to Paper 1 where snapping tools are allowed, but there are no checkpoints or hints. May be I will find some better challenging levels in the Workshop when that feature is completed.

this game has such a perfect atmosphere, wonderful music, beautiful visuals, and of course great puzzles. you're given tools that make folding easier, like grid snapping, and angle locks. if you're stuck the game will offer you a hint, but won't outright tell you how to solve the puzzle (which i appreciate). its a really pleasant game to just relax and solve puzzles in.

This game is super complex and challenging (I called it a crime against stupid people.) but in a good way, once you get past the basics and into the more challenging levels you really have to stop and think about how to approach the puzzle. it feels rewarding to finally get a level at 3 stars or even finishing a level with less steps than than expected, in some levels you can also solve the puzzle in multiple ways letting you be creative and think out of the box. I also love the music, it's very relaxing to slow down, chill to some lo-fi and fold some origami. When I first played the game I expected to be familiar with some of the shapes but the dev got super creative and created his own complex puzzles that you won't find elsewhere. This game is a love letter to origami.
