It seems some "amateur" developers think copyright laws are optional, choosing to ripoff games from real developers without conscience. Beyond the obvious ethical and creative bankruptcy involved stealing other people's game ideas, they failed the basic rule of game design: if you are going to rip off someone else's game, you have to at least try to improve on it. Instead, "Pawggle" is much worse than the original Peggle (and I guess we should acknowledge that Peggle itself is a ripoff of the old Japanese gambling "Pachinko" games). 9/10 Peggle where you place level objects TLDR: a humorous puzzle where, instead of choosing shot direction, you need to carefully place blocks and other elements in the level for the ball to bounce off. It's a nice game and it's free without in-apps, the mixed rating is ridiculously unfair! Good: + free + funny audio of farm animals + nice animations and visual effects, great colorful looks overall + pleasant music + interesting puzzles, with several game modes (grouped into level packs). In later packs, the cannon can randomly rotate after every turn or just move all the time (for precisely timed shots). The 2 last packs are 1-shot puzzles. There is enough variety for at least several play sessions here So-so: +/- some backgrounds have a few errors common in AI-made images. I guess they could be just edited out in Photoshop. But it's really a minor thing +/- can't move already placed blocks. I guess, moving blocks to adjust the predicted bounce trajectories would make the game too easy?
