Lighthearted platformer with creative beak-based traversal, relaxed difficulty curve, and collectibles that encourage you to replay stages after acquiring new skills, but the whole package feels unfinished because of empty stages with poor layout. The game doesn’t have an epic story. You emerge from an egg as a freshly hatched bird, and before you can even shake off your shell, a mysterious merchant claims you're destined to save the world. With little context and no clear direction, you embark on a journey for magical ingredients. The controls are standard for the genre: move, jump, attack. Walking is serviceable but too slow for comfort, so the run button becomes a constant companion. Thankfully, there's no stamina bar to manage, though extended sessions might leave your fingers aching because you’ll have to keep the button pressed. Jumping is responsive, and your offensive toolkit includes two beak-based attacks: a chaotic, swipe-heavy combo and a precise stabbing move that’s essential to both combat and movement. That stabbing move becomes the heart of the game’s platforming. When near a wooden object, platform, or wall, you can jab your beak into it and hang. From there, …3 found this helpful
The demo shows potential. Of course that's the best the game has, and it's all downhill from level 2. It's full of sprawling levels that don't feel designed or use the core platforming mechanic. The ending is some congrats text on a building.1 found this helpful
It's a nice (one man) indie game with cool ideas, where you can see that the dev put some love in details. But it feels like it is not finsihed - so currently not recommending it. You cannot quit the game when on the map view. You cannot save the state on the map view - every new start of the game you have to walk to the next point. Unskippable animations. Unskippable end screen. You cannot save your state in the level. ♥♥♥♥ controls in the snow glide level. When collecting a gold coin, the view is blocked in the snow glide level. No real challenges apart from work/effort to run around aimlessly in the hope to be lucky of finding a secret or gold coin. Etc...1 found this helpful
This game is super fun and great for everyone to play even my niece loves this game, she loves that she can put on all the hats at once
An absolute hidden gem! This game perfectly blends a cute aesthetic and classic platforming with fresh, modern ideas. The level design is excellent. While there are a few minor rough edges, it's incredibly polished for a solo dev project—we experienced no bugs. The local co-op is a fantastic addition and works flawlessly. Highly recommended for some fun couch co-op! The main character (surprise, it is a Pecker) is a cutie! <3
SO CUTE! Enjoyed it very much! as surprised how the graphics were so high and great quality!
