About Perceptions of the Dead 2
Perceptions of the Dead 2 is a visual novel made up of short stories starring quirky and cute characters in a mysterious and haunted setting. So far there are 3 stories in the game, with a fourth under development.

In October of 2017, Jill Count held an IRL streaming event from within the haunted hospital of Saint Heart. The events there left her forever changed and able to now see ghosts.
Haunted by the ghost of a young man she met there, Jill travels to find Tyrone, hoping he can help her.
Finding him missing, she is quickly roped into helping save him.
Little does she know what she is actually walking into.
Finishing this story unlocks the other two stories. A ~2 hour long adventure filled with goofs and spooks.

Infiltrate a high school, hunt down a ghost that's murdering other ghosts, and try not to get lost along the way. A cupcake filled adventure lasting ~1 hour and 30 minutes.

Enjoy a quiet Hallow's Eve with Jill, Owen and a wistful spirit from the past. An atmospheric, heartfelt adventure of ~30 minutes.

Ripley accompanies Marcus as he goes looking for a new place to live, when they end up hunting more than just a house.

An amazing cast of voice actors help bring the characters to life.

Alex Weber - Owen
Quinn O'Quinn - Tyrone
Amy Saville - Ripley

✦ AI summary
Players praise this spooky visual novel series as excellent and underrated, with compelling interconnected stories that inspired some to create their own games. Common complaints center on the narrative trying too hard to be trendy rather than focusing on atmospheric horror, the brevity of later installments, and disappointment that the series appears to have ended without a third entry, with some preferring the older art style.
Everything about the game is superb, but.. My only complaint is that the overall narrative gets in its own way trying to be hip, and fresh. I just wanted spoopy..4 found this helpful
This was one of the first games I got on Steam and I do not regret it. I kinda wish there was a third one but I love this game as it is. I think this was one of those games that gave me motivation to make my own visual novel one day.
what a spooky game brah
Extremely underrated. It is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up more people haven't played this. The first one is free so please give it a shot and come back here if you liked it.
Update: Finished the game now. the first one is long enough, last 3 are all pretty short bits about the characters, it really makes me wish there was a 3rd one its good, one longer story, and the rest are shorter i assume though ive only played the first 2, its an interesting set of connected stories with a few slightly different endings but overall the same, and some funny bits i got interested in checking out ithaqua labs other works but it seems that the indie studio may be dead/disbanded/insert proper word here, i did more digging than i probably shouldve and in anything ive found there hasnt been anything in since around 2020, they had a site but its gone now
A bit of a shame that this series ended. I wish that there was a 3rd game. While the current art is pretty. I liked the old one better.
