Essentially a greatly simplified Slay the Spire, but with way more randomness and no meta progression (aside from unlocking new characters). The game also adds weapon degradation into the mix, because as we all know the one game mechanic gamers universally absolutely love is weapon degradation.3 found this helpful
Unfinished, unpolished and blantantly forgotten by the developper. Zero balance to be found.1 found this helpful
great potential, great art, seems like a really good recipe, fails to be enjoyable, can't say id recomened it in current state.
You mean to tell me after all the trash and gimmicky battle roguelikes that use a slot machine that I've played, the only one that actually incorporates the slots into the mechanics in a smart and creative way is only $1 on sale on Steam?? I can't believe I didn't hear about this before. I legitimately found it rummaging through the steam Summer Sale looking at cheap deckbuilding roguelikes. Hidden gem. This isn't going to change your life or anything, but it's an excellent bite sized package and unique spin (pun intended) on the genre. And like I've said, it's the only one that I've come across that built it's gameplay around the slot machine idea rather than stuffed it in as an afterthought.
Very cool game, love the music art & gameplay. PLEASE MAKE STATUS EFFECTS BLOCKABLE BY SHIELD. thorns, burn, and poison going straight through makes it so attrition is virtually worthless. Especially thorns, the fact that I am forced to attack and take X unblockable damage doesn't seem fair in the slightest.
I LOVE myself a $1 game that feels better than going to the arcade! Seriously.. if this is on-sale for $1, just buy it. At $5, it's fair because there is a decent amount of content for a little game. Not gonna blow your mind, but no complaints and I didn't hate playing it.. just the right amount of fun and exploration.
