In the upper left corner of the game screen is a pixel picture.
You need to build the same picture in the frame in the center of the screen, using the blocks available on the right side of the screen for this.
Unlike Tetris, blocks can only be placed on top of other blocks, not on empty cells.
The blocks are dragged with the mouse. And they can be rotated.

- 50+ pixel pictures of various sizes and themes (people, animals, fruits, things, devices, etc.).
- Each of the pictures has 6 game variations - that is, with different sets of blocks and different complexity. Thus, there are 300+ levels in the game.
- The "Mosaic Easy" difficulty mode is an ordinary 2D mosaic, even a child can solve it. This cannot be said for all other modes. The most difficult one is "3D Hard", which has a high combinatoriness and a hard shortage of blocks. This poses a serious intellectual challenge (but all levels in the game are guaranteed to be passable).
- The game is non-linear! Many levels have many correct solutions (block stacking sequences), and not just one, conceived by the author of the game.

[b]picture builder[/b] has you constructing images from overlapping tetris blocks, can't just place them over emptiness. it's jigsaw mixed with a hint of perspective-based shenanigans, as you have to figure out what to cover with what and in what order. the [b]56 images[/b] can be played in 6 different ways, essentially offering [b]336 levels[/b], all unlocked from the start, but there are [b]only 2 main modes, both with 3 difficulty choices[/b]. according to the store page, there are alternate solutions for some levels, which I guess is fine in something like this, whatever works. [u]mosaic[/u] on [i]easy[/i] offers single-tile pieces and a full outline of the target in the playing area (those are the tiles other pieces can be placed on), so it's coloring by numbers but without the numbers, not much point to it and it's beyond tedious to drag dozens or hundreds of pieces one by one (though coloring by numbers is tedium personified anyway). [i]medium[/i] has tetris pieces with a full outline and [i]hard[/i] also provides tetris pieces, but only a few random tiles to put pieces on. these levels don't utilize overlap. its fine, the concept is pretty great, but the price is insane, there really aren't many levels at all in the game, mosaic mode is nice, 3d mode is really cool but its really expensive for what it is honestly
