The original Baldurs Gate 3. Great story, great characters, great world and exceptional RPG gameplay. With the recent inclusion of a turn-based mode this is now an easy recommendation for fans of the genre.
It is a fun streight forward game. Linier if you like those kinds of games.
Its just very good. Story kept me hooked the whole time and I like the combat mechanics too. Art style runs on nostalgia, but the quality is top.
Just Try it. Its Good simple CRPG (4/5)
Finally finished this after 8 years. Great game but overstays its welcome imo, starts getting really stale about 25 hours in (for me, in the middle of act 3 it became a slog). But at that point you have about 5--6 hours left if you go straight for the rest of the main story. Final boss fight was a crazy difficulty spike for me (i was level 10 by the end, i think game assumes youll be level 12), had to turn down difficulty and turn based combat makes the hard fights a lot more understandeable. Overall, great game. There's a reason this revitalized the crpg genre. I dont have the patience nor time these days to complete more of the side quests + expansions, but the game was overall a fantastic experience, especially in the first 20 hours. Solid 8.5/10
