Jump inside your oversized mech and deliver some delicious pizzas from your local restaurant. Run and smash some baddies and deliver hot saucer inside someones's mouth smashing building by occasion. Gameplay is good and arcade like. Different types of enemies require different approach like smacking ground or punching mid-air. Avoid enemy's attacks by rolling like a pro. Stages are time limited so gotta go fast and collect that dough, ingredients and time extension pick ups but be careful to not get obliterated in the meantime. Don't worry about collateral destruction - you're paid for delivering stuff. Music will emerge you into gameplay. Visuals are cartoony with some comic book references (Bob Ross, Parappa). Play if you like pizza! 🍕
PS: For ultrawide fix open UnityPlayer.dll inside game folder with hex editor and replace: 39 8E E3 3F with one of the following: (2560x1080) 26 B4 17 40 (3440x1440) 8E E3 18 40 (3840x1080) 39 8E 63 40 (3840x1600) 9A 99 19 40 (5292x1050) AE 47 A1 40 (7680x1440) AB AA AA 4014 found this helpful
Pizza Titan Ultra is an older game from 2018. It's a venerable 7 years old at the time of this review. It's also broken and unplayable for many. When launching the game, the obtuse and buggy menu requires several attempts to start the game... which fails, instead presenting a blank white screen. You can quit out of the white screen and back to the menu, but that's it. The developer is aware of this problem and deliberately refused to fix it or maintain their software... but they still want YOUR money for this unplayable game. It's a shoddy console port from a small time Canadian developer. The premise is fine, of course, you're a giant mobile pizza restaurant in a bipedal giant robot and you deliver pizzas by punching them into buildings. From a technical perspective, if you can get it to work (probably not) the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the 1990s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is tha…3 found this helpful
Pizza Titan Ultra was a game that I knew I had to own as soon as I saw it. As a lover of indie games, platformers, and also being a delivery driver...I was not prepared for the hilarity that this game brought to my life. I've been playing it on stream while recovering from hernia surgery. The only downside about this is you're not supposed to laugh during the recovery which this game has rendered impossible. Nice job team.
https://youtu.be/08cjvPJAjZc Back and forth delivery without only limited variance between routes quickly runs out of novelty.
Played this at PAX West in 2018 and have waited years to get my hands on it. Runs great on Steam Deck. As other reviewers have mentioned, Crazy Taxi arcade fun thats rare these days. It's very apparent how much passion went into the work to bring this game to life. Good repetitive arcade fun that keeps you trying and trying again.
pizza is good, so this is good
