About Planet Cube: Edge
Planet Cube is being invaded by a mysterious aggressor, and its populace are not ready for a fight. While most cubes run to the nearest exit, one square-headed lab technician named Edge finds it in himself to save the world. Of course, he'll have a little help from co-workers and the illustrious Dr Quadratus, as well as some experimental weapons...
But why is the planet being invaded? Who is the invading force? The answers will become clear as our hero makes his way through an underwater science complex with danger at every turn!
Run, gun, jump and dash through an underwater science complex, collecting fire-power to turn the tables on mysterious aggressors.

This is high-speed, high-skill platforming action, where quick responses and unlimited respawns will see you battle through hordes of invading enemies, dodging hazards and avoiding traps in a bid to save this world.
Set across eight, beautifully hand-crafted pixel art levels, and filled with quirky and memorable characters, Planet Cube: Edge is a fun, run and gun platformer filled with challenge and replayability.
A pixel-art lover's dream, this two-tone underwater side of the Planet Cube has been crafted with meticulous care. From the distant seascapes of the ocean floor, to smallest details of the science facility, every pixel has been placed with the utmost attention to detail.
This is a world of expressive and characterful cubes, invaded by a race of highly imaginative enemies with an arsenal that ranges from crusher-tanks to massive mechanical crabs.
But more than just pixels, prepare for fluid animations with a cinematic heart, where the gravitas of the story is skilfully offset with a light-hearted delivery, bringing smiles and feel-good moments at every step in the adventure.

This game is such a challenge. I can beat it but i just dont want to anymore. Every game nowadays gotta be a challenge with people jeez2 found this helpful
Planet Cube: Edge is a very good little action platformer - quite unique visual style, perky music, and of course a lot of action with many interesting and mostly fresh ideas. It's also quite hard, sometimes painfully so, but I wouldn't call it unfair at any stage. You've been warned :) Edit: the last levels are completely crazy. Crazy hard, but also crazy good. Hats off, devs!
A solid puzzle platformer plagued by bugs. I can stomach the broken achievements, sound randomly turning off, and even the collectibles randomly not collecting upon clearing a room. The last straw came after I spent 3 hours hunting collectibles only to have the game softlock on a blank loading screen, erasing all my progress.
Visuals 9/10 Gameplay 10/10 Story 7/10 Highly recommended !!
Steam Achievements are broken, and have been for many players for the last couple years it looks like. I really do enjoy the game so far, so I'll change it to a positive recommendation with a proper review if and when they get it fixed.
Planet Cube Edge is begging to be the hardest game out there. It has a very cohesive and charming aesthetic, tight controls, and surprisingly high production values for a game of its type. Watching the credits, I was surprised at the size of the development team. This is a very extreme precision platformer that does its best to maintain fairness with extremely generous checkpoints. Throughout most of the game, the level design is quite excellent, and no two rooms feel like they repeat the same challenge. In addition to that, the game continuous to layer on additional mechanics at appropriate intervals, which do enough to lend variety to the challenge during the game's runtime. There are hundreds of 'levels' here, so expect a wealth of content, even if you don't care about optional collectables, which all require complete extra detour challenges. The dialogue and characters really didn't need to exist for a game like this, but honestly I found both of these aspects to be delightful and made me smile during breaks between sections. Boss battles are also fantastic, and like most of the rest of the game, although they are extremely demanding, checkpoints keeps frustration fr…
