✦ AI summary

Planetarian HD is a brief visual novel with a bittersweet, emotionally resonant story set in an abandoned planetarium that resonates strongly with players despite its linear nature and lack of choices. The game is praised for its compelling narrative, excellent calming soundtrack, and streamlined pacing that works well for those who struggle with longer visual novels, though some players find the dynamic between the cheerful android protagonist and the cold male lead frustrating.

I really struggle with sticking with long visual novels so Planetarian being a quick read (it took me 5 hours to see everything, it seems my offline playtime was not recorded) was fantastic. The story still sticks with me, very bittersweet. Highly recommended.

Fun and cheerful android and her joy are always dismissed by a cold and emotionless protagonist. I always feel bad for her because of that. Not a massive fan of this kind of a dynamic.

Very short streamlined game with no choices and a decently tragic story. I liked it a lot, even if it's hard to believe the same studio that paced Clannad made this. The soundtrack is also very good. The songs are all pretty calm and fitting for the abandoned planetarium setting the game takes place in.
