I have no idea where this game came from. I don't know if it's a franchise somewhere I never heard of, or it somehow sprung fully formed from madness itself. But I just blinked and four hours were gone, and I had to go to work the next day scratching my arms and thinking "Hey got any more of that PlatyGuard?" This game is incredible and will consume you. Try the demo., but know there are 13 other characters, and the ones I've unlocked are almost totally different gamestyles than the first guy you get. The hell did this amazing beast of a game come from? Oh and Kudos to the developers for, by far, the most unhinged "character unlock" animation I've seen in any game ever. Bravo for making me retch just a little at those noises.

Amazing game. I played the demo and really enjoyed it so I purchased the game + all the cosmetics. The sheer amount of variety in build choices and meta progression upgrades is outstanding. Its a lot of fun to make crazy broken builds. The core combat and parry system feel simple and fun and the 14 unlockable characters all have unique mechanics with their own progression and skills. Shelly the duck is incredible with the 1HP, break meter build. My only real complaint is how long it takes to unlock characters. The currency is only rewarded for winning runs and it takes a lot to unlock a single character past the first few. Overall this is one of the most fun rogue-likes Ive played in the past couple of years. GGWP!

This is a very solid roguelike that takes its inspiration from BlazBlue Entropy Effect. + Fluid, fast and fun combat with responsive parry mechanics + Crisp visuals and art style + Great build variety + a big roster of characters to unlock - It can get grindy to unlock characters as the loot/currency to unlock them drops from completing runs and the cost to unlock a new character is high - Minor framedrops on the Steam Deck +- It's on the easier side, at least in the beginning. This is good too make you stay but if it stays this easy later on, it lacks challenge(not far enough yet to judge) If you're into fast-paced hack'n'slash roguelikes and are a fan of BB Entropy Effect and Cinderia, i can recommend it. This is a mobile game port, so the grind etc is noticeable. There are no microtransactions/in-game shop etc in the Steam version. Everything can be unlocked through playing the game. The DLCs are only cosmetics(costumes).

Art didn't sell me it's kind of rushed and ugly, but the actual gameplay and progression is genuine fun. it's a mix between Entropy effect and Dead Cells.

Great game, im pretty enjoyed it. Alot of characters that plays different, lot of items that improve your gameplay, builds. There are also some story that fun to read, world, characters bios. Parry mechanic -You can stagger bossess and vise versa, its more like Sekiro. Different characters have different Block/parry types. Some can hold block, it very depend. Parry pretty forgivable and you dont need learn timing as ♥♥♥♥. The parry window is pretty big, but it adds depth to the gameplay. I Recomend it, buy if you like dynamic gameplay with some depth.

Not a fan of the art or animations, but the game is genuinely fun.
