About Plebs

Plebs is a cozy real-time strategy game that places you in an unexplored land ripe for expansion and conquest. Set in a time of ancient Nations, you are tasked with leading a civilization to prosperity and dominance. The key to victory lies in commanding your Plebs to efficiently gather resources from the land, expand your towns, build a diverse army, and outsmart your opponents through cunning tactics.
  • With Multiplayer recently added, there are many more features planned for the full release!

The life of a Pleb

Your Plebs are here to gather resources, mine for metal ores, construct buildings, train to become soldiers, and much more. They are the lifeblood of your town, so make sure you keep them busy! Each level offers a unique challenge, exploring the map to establish a steady supply of resources is key. You begin with a small settlement and a limited pool of resources, but with careful planning and strategic decision-making, you can flourish into a formidable empire.

Refine Metals for Tools & Weapons

As your Plebs mine deeper into the ground they will discover a variety of different metals. Providing your workers and soldiers with higher quality metals makes them more effective, and you can even enhance your Plebs metalworking skills to enable stronger tools & weapons! Building a powerful and versatile army is crucial for survival and success. Each unit type has strengths and weaknesses, so careful army composition is vital to counter enemy forces effectively.

Choose Your Path to Glory

Battle through a series of unique challenges for each Nation in the Campaign mode, defend against endless waves of enemies in the Survival mode, or create your own Singleplayer or Multiplayer custom game on a variety of different levels in Skirmish mode.

Expand your Settlement

Each building has a unique purpose, be it harvesting natural resources, growing food, expanding your town, refining metals, training soldiers, building vehicles, or expanding your population. As you grow and upgrade your town, new buildings will become available enabling better tools or stronger soldiers. Being a Pleb is tiring work, growing or catching food is a must to ensure your population keeps working at full capacity. As a solo dev, reviews mean so much to me. A nice looking game with potential to be fun. Needs a bit of work to make it shine, a tutorial for one would be useful, as I played the first mission, had no idea what i was doing, and then got attacked and killed 20 minutes in.

This game is cute, simply put. The standouts for me are the amount of gamemodes (like survival, versus, tutorial challenges, and campaign), clean campaign map UI, terrain graphics, and just overall FEEL. It’s an RTS game that doesn’t stress you out. I believe some tweaks could make the game instantly better because the foundation is there. Some recommends: - Phrourion Range slightly larger - Quarries should not need stone to build, likewise for lumbercamps should not need wood to construct. Can lock out the player from progressing if resources are depleted. Could be a design choice though to make the player think ahead. - HP bar to show how well my units are destroying enemy buildings and units. - Unit logic: disengage from combat. I have to spam click away from enemies for them to not attack again. - Scout troop, just to make exploring a little faster and allow my army to see a larger space when attacking. Try it out, it’s a pretty cozy game!

It says its multiplayer, and it is, but only for one game mode out of all of them. Wish all of the modes were multiplayer, I'd keep playing if so.
