Polygon Hunter is a fast-paced action game in the third person in which the character falls asleep in geometry class and transported to various scenarios based on countries in the world, in them he finds the polygons he saw on the blackboard and his goal is to destroy them to be able to wake up from his dream.
Polygon Hunter seeks the fusion of sensations that the games of the 90s gave in the arcade machines, with weapons suitable for various situations, pick ups that generate various effects to help the character to hunt more effectively the geometric figures he faces and many ways to combine all this to generate more and more spectacular combos.
CONTROL MODES: Polygon Hunter has been designed to be used with both Gamepad and Keyboard and Mouse

* A unique pointing system, the movement is not like in a typical third person action game because the character does not rotate in 360 degrees, but the movement of the cursor on the screen is what generates the rotation, this makes Polygon Hunter is a new sensation for just about anyone who plays it.
* Colorful graphics that do not respond to any categorization, are not realistic, neither cartoon nor hand painted, they have been created to visually fit with what was wanted to represent at all times.

I recommend this game for newer players that don't have much experience with bigger types of Indie games, the core of the game is solid but it is lacking on the camera movement department, otherwise it's a challenging game i had trouble dodging the shapes, it is a bit of a grind, i hope in the future there would be more updates for this because it is a bit much for $20, and the unlocking does take a lot of grind but besides that, it is fun to play and unlocking the other students helps make the game easier. Support the Developer and give the players input to improve the game is all i can say.1 found this helpful
Polygon Hunter is an arcadey 3rd person shooter with the emphasis on shooting bouncing and flying shapes. The theme and story is irrelative entirely but the gameplay is actually pretty fun. For the whole package I dont think it's worth it at the $20 price point personally. Everything else is kind of tacked onto the engaging gameplay and overall feels very basic and overly time consuming to unlock anything and the general theme and graphics are lacking refinement. The gameplay in this game is actually rather fun and challenging. The constant barrage of shapes bouncing around a tiny level that you are meant to shoot. The chaos of it all makes for an interesting tiptoeing shape shooting salad of a game. The shapes can do any number of different things like wield large blades or shoot laser beams, all that makes for a stressful environment to try to navigate without getting hit. If you get hit 3 times you lose a life, but you can grab life off the ground. I do wish that the drops were persistent from level to level, or at least left a cool off time to grab them at the end of a round, and mostly just the life drops. Graphics are okay, just okay.
