The bug speaks to me in wingdings and then the black mages from final fantasy put me in their Go Away Orb. Understanding is overrated this is artwork and jank and just, good.

The release on Steam is as good a time as any to make a feedback. Stunning visuals and beautiful pixel art in a captivating world. But what the hell am I supposed to do? I think the demo, or first chapter, in its current state, is mostly confusing: controls (with a controller) are weird, sometimes unresponsive, and buttons that I would expect to work simply do not. I have no idea what I should do, there is very little guidance in the demo, and the isometric 3 in a pixel environment makes legibility quite difficult, especially at night. I think providing a few more pointers and more guidance as to what we should do in the very first steps of the game would be helpful, just to get a hang of what this game is and how it is played.

The store description says "10-30 minutes", it took me 3 hours to reach the end, and until that point I wasn't entirely sure that there even is an end to reach. It's very obtuse, but trying to figure out possible actions and interactions is intriguing. The artstyle with the unusual colors and dithering is very striking, and is also what got me interested in the first place. It's a great game if you enjoy really figuring out everything for yourself.

My computer fans immediately started to sound like a jet engine preparing for takeoff! I have no idea what I did or how to do it again, but somehow I liked it? It's less of a game and more of an atmosphere. A very, very fishy atmosphere that your PC will hate. 0/10 for clarity
