Build a trading empire across 60+ Caribbean towns by managing production, commanding fleets, and battling pirates and rival nations in this sprawling 17th-century merchant simulator. Wage economic warfare and military conquest simultaneously—complete missions for rival factions, capture enemy vessels, and conquer towns to expand your domain with persistent consequences that reshape the game world.
As pirates and military fleets threaten your trade convoys, you'll need escort ships. Or you can turn the tides and hunt for pirates and capture the military ships yourself.
Take on missions for merchants, diplomats and other characters. By taking on the daring missions of the Vice Kings, where you are to attack and conquer enemy towns, you will be able to influence the defenses of your home towns directly. As a sign of gratitude you will be awarded land, to be used later to build and oversee your own towns.

0/10 Comepletely unplayable, crashes instantly. To attempt to fix this you have to change files, download files, and disable things in windows defender. Lord knows if the fixes are even up to date. This used to be / is still one of the best games out there but yea... we dont get to enjoy that. The sale is a scam, if you want this game buy it elsewhere. My disappointment is immeasurable And my Day has been ruined.7 found this helpful
I use dgVoodoo for scrolling issue -> DirectX tab. Set any resolution you like and tick Force vSync option. Set your monitor at 60 Hz and the scrolling now is no issue.3 found this helpful

Classic game! Runs perfecfly on linux (ge-proton).
Amazing childhood game that has surprising amount of depth and qol but its a shame the port is so bad and needed some fixes that are available with a little research (i used copilot ai to help). If you want to play this, be prepared to fix graphical issues.
