✦ AI summary
Players appreciate the game's inspiration from classic ARPGs like Diablo 2 and Grim Dawn, praising its skill system, open-world design, and controller support, while acknowledging the solo developer's effort. However, common complaints center on loose combat feel, limited content variety with repetitive quest design, slow enemy behavior, and the sense that the game needs more polish and development time, with several suggesting it would be better suited as an early access title.
A charming game that reminds me of the best ARPG's of all time, Diablo 2 and Grim Dawn. It has some bugs, but I haven't encountered anything game breaking. It has a simple story, but I've never liked long winded stories in video games. If I want a story, I'll read a book or watch a movie.5 found this helpful
It's a fun little Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance kinda game. It's got combat, skills, loot, and quests. I can't wait to see where this game goes once it gets a little more polish!4 found this helpful
This guy had amazing timing releasing the game just as people were probably getting bored of the Titan Quest 2 demo. He'll probably make a killing. I refunded the game. Combat feel a bit too loose and sloppy, which is very important for this type of game obviously. Otherwise looked decent. Some people might like it. Good luck dude.3 found this helpful
I very much appreciate the effort that has gone into making this game as a solo developer. I like the levelling system. Unfortunatly there are too little interesting content for me to not refund this title. I feel like this should be an early access game, which would imply continued development could then make this game a gem in the future since aspects of it were interesting to me as an avid rpg enjoyer. Pros: -I like the open world with no hand holding. -The skill system is very nice. -Works with controller Cons: - As far as I can tell, no real interaction with the game world except fetch/kill quests, traders and blacksmits and such. - Enemies are just slow-moving, slow-fighting homing projectiles. I'm recommending the game with a discount. Full price felt a bit much to me considering it's got that early access feel with uncertain future.2 found this helpful
Hey Bart, game would be fun if the hard mode wasnt so dang easy!1 found this helpful
This game is absolutely horrible. I *love* ARPGs, but this feels like a very quarter-assed phone game. And it looks like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.1 found this helpful
