About Pro Football Online

What makes Pro Football Online so good? 1) Input Driven Gameplay Gameplay in Pro Football Online is completely input driven, not animation driven like many other sports games. Your decisions and skills on the field are the only thing that matter in this game.2) No pay to win mechanics Pro Football Online aims to be the most competitive and satisfying sports gaming experience there is. Having pay to win would completely ruin that. There are no pay to win mechanics in Pro Football Online. 3) Dedicated servers Pro Football Online has dedicated servers in NA (Ohio), EU (Milan) and potential to add more locations in the future.4) Player customizationCustomize your player in different ways like choosing your skin & eye color, hair and facial hair style and colors, different helmets and shoulder pad styles, shoes and accessories as well as different emotes.5) Team customizationYou can create multiple team presets that allow you to customize things like the team name, abbreviation, logo, uniforms with custom colors and different patterns/designs.

I tried my best to give this game a chance, to give its dev a chance, and to block out the storms of hate and nay sayers. This reivew is my own personal reflection in realizing the voices of naysayers were right from the beginning. I believe the biggest factor in the failure of this game was the developer himself. I myself was a beta tester brought in to play with old friends from a similar games community hoping to find a new game to spend my time on with my friends of days gone by. From the first day I was warned of the dev character 'Brylos' and how he had an extremely fragile ego. I took this with a grain of salt and did everything in my power to try to keep out of that and see the game for what it is. I tested this game for 26 hours of play time, time i will never get back because this developer true to the warnings was a GIANT crybaby who wouldnt take feedback without a full blown meltdown. Three major event that should tell you about his character include asking players to play test a new patch then banning people who were critical about bugs and exploits caused by his patch, only valueing a quick buck and stating openly that he would only complete the game if it popped off…

Yes, people were frustrated, and some of that is valid. The last beta got heated, communication wasn’t great, and things could have been handled better. That said, there are always two sides to stuff like this, and knowing some of the testers, I’m sure things weren’t perfect on either end. But calling the dev incompetent or writing the game off entirely is not accurate. Brylos made Pro Soccer Online, which still has a dedicated playerbase years later. He knows how to make high skill sports games that reward practice and punish mistakes. This game clearly has that same DNA. It is unforgiving by design, every mistake matters, and when it clicks it is genuinely fun. That style is not for everyone, but it is intentional. In the past few days after the whole judgment day moment, Brylos has been active again. He has been hopping into games, communicating with players, and openly admitting mistakes on his end. The game is still early access. Buying in now comes with risk, but it is also a chance to help shape something that could last if things continue improving. If you want a polished, drama free experience right now, waiting makes sense. If you enjoy high skill ceiling …
