About Puke

Something is wrong in the town of “Frieden.” The stories about the events in the town could be worth gold. If the rumors about the town's priest are true, you are about to step into something big. That's why you should not miss the priest's sermons and pay close attention to what he says. Be careful while doing so because if you can see him, he can also see you.The more you learn about what is happening in this gloomy town, the more you might feel the colors around you fading and your good feelings slipping away. You should listen carefully to the workers who have been employed in this town for generations and their cruel employers. You were sent here not to solve the mystery but to report on it.Be careful of those who observe you while you observe all these events. The people of this town do not seem to get along well with newcomers. Even trains take more than two weeks to reach here. So, you will stay here for a long time, and the time will feel even longer the more you remain here.Every move you make will determine your fate. Reaching your home safely is in your hands. As you wander the streets of this terrifying town, watch carefully and listen closely. Be prepared for events that might freeze your blood.Developer's Note: "Puke," the first game from our Skyfect team, was entirely created by a volunteer team. The designs, sounds, and materials you will see in our game were created and developed by members of our team. Our game consists of 4 stages, with the first 3 stages in Early Access, and they will continue to be developed.

✦ AI summary

Players appreciate the game's atmospheric graphics, engaging chase sequences, and improved horror elements in recent updates, with some noting a compelling narrative that resonates emotionally. However, complaints center on the high price point, unclear mechanics and tutorials, lifeless NPC animations, performance issues with dialogue sequences, and restrictive invisible barriers that limit exploration of the game world.

https://youtu.be/JPiEU1fqbBM The name really says it all. First off, it's overpriced. I just don't know how to explain how bad this game is without being mean, if it was $1 you'd still be ripped off. Just so you know, there is no end to the game, probably because they knew no one would ever play it that long. when you complete all tasks, it just starts over without telling you there was an end, probably because there isn't. seems like a cash grab, 100% the worst excuse for a "game" I have ever seen.

I can see that the game is much better than its initial version. I will list the pros and cons for those who are considering buying the game: + The graphics and atmosphere of the game will draw you in. + The story told in the background has a deep narrative that players from different countries can relate to in their own lives. + The chase scenes are really enjoyable and motivate you to explore the game further. - Some NPCs seem to be placed just to tell the story. They look very lifeless. - You can’t explore the entire map, as invisible barriers keep you contained. - It took me a long time to figure out that I could hide in the field section. They need to be clearer in some areas. - The transitions of the trees stand out too much.

I wonder why they went with the name "Puke"? Well it has an interestin' premise but the game could use a bit of work. Whenever it's time to talk to peeps the character slows to a crawl for some reason. There are some voice overs at least even if they may be AI. They may wanna lower the price tag as well. That could be a barrier to entry for some. I'll give it a middle thumb (mixed). Gameplay Impressions: https://youtu.be/Z4GPenBwxDM

Many things have been improved since the first version I played. I would like to talk about the innovations I liked the most in the latest version: - The optimization problem has almost completely disappeared. - Many horror elements and suspense music have been added compared to the first version. - The scenario narration has been strengthened and the main character no longer pauses in dialogues. - Details such as burning in fire, the doors of the church having physics, the mysterious black character watching us, details in the titles and drifting on the slopes have been added. The parts that I think can be improved are as follows: - By adding elements that will distract us from the invisible walls, invisible walls can be made to feel really invisible. - The story can be told with different tasks that will save the monotony. - Camera shake can be added to the jumpscare scenes and if the artificial intelligence of the enemies is further developed, I think it will be really scary.
