About Puzzle Box Palace
Puzzle Box Palace is an escape room style puzzle game where you are pulled into your grandfather's magical puzzle box. Solve puzzles, manipulate the puzzle box, and jump across furniture as you look for a way out. You find nostalgic letters from your grandfather throughout the puzzle box, reminiscing about your relationship with him as you navigate his last gift to you.
Puzzle Box Palace was developed by graduate students at SMU Guildhall over the course of approximately four months.

A pretty [i] out-of-the-box [/i] type of puzzle game, if you know what I mean... Anyway, it's a pretty cool concept, making the rooms lift, turn, and twist to reach the end goal, and the story is, while short, also pretty sweet. Something that could've been done better, in my opinion, was the inventory. I feel like it would've been better as a hotbar. Also, the extra lever between the actual puzzle room and the previous one felt unnecessary (unless used as a loading zone). And the motion blur is nauseating.2 found this helpful

A quiet, lovely little game. It took me about an hour to run through and I was struck by how touching it was. I found myself tearing up at the piano thinking about my own grandmother, thank you to this team for a beautiful little moment of a game.1 found this helpful
