not sure about the english localization but gameplay wise you sure get lots of freedom compared to radirgy 2 whose design gets derailed by routing, inconsistent scoring techniques and being more suicidal than in garegga, and thus I can recommend swag as a solid alternative to traditional shmups2 found this helpful
Really great game and port. Brilliant to see the Radirgy series making its way to PC. Music is always good, and gameplay is addictive. Definitely watch the tutorial video on RS34's youtube channel to get the jist of the game. Hope to see Radirgy 2 on Steam soon!1 found this helpful
I played this game in 2023 in japanese on the switch and was surprised to randomly find this in english! And yea, it's still good! The gameplay really revolves around being able to combo one specifically ability, and while that does sound kinda boring and easily repetitive, it's actually pretty fun to get that combo going and keeping it alive! Also the little tidbits of info you get if you afk on the menu from Tadayo really helps build the world and Tadayo herself as some nice flavor text. Speaking of, the graphics are timeless in my opinion, I just love how this game looks! And the music is some of my favorite in gaming! If you're looking for a game to play just to vibe or the like, this is a good game to do that with!

You’re constantly weighing risk and reward while everything speeds up around you. It’s hectic, rewarding, and surprisingly deep for something so easy to jump into. Definitely one that kept pulling me back in.

A really interesting and unique SHMUP with tons of style. Ive never played any previous Radirgy but im really enjoying this one. it's had a lot going on at once, a lot of it fresh, some of it reworked mechanics from other games, (i get major twinbee vibes with one of the games major mechanics). it's really addicting, has a great style, the music is very good. the whole game is just a vibe tbh. the game has lots of unlockables too to keep you busy too. I would say this game isn't for someone looking for more of a spectacle. there's only one stage (a very long one) and no bosses or big set pieces really. it's more of a game focused on score than anything else. But, by no means does that change my opinion of it as it has some of the most fun synergistic mechanics i've every seen in a Shmup, If i had one gripe with this game, it's that while the important messages you collect are translated into english, you also collect "spam" messages too which are not translated. These don't change the gameplay or are even close to Necessary to play the game or understand the story, but i would have loved to see them translated all the same. But beyond that, the game is quite exhilarating in…
