About Reel & Deal
Reel & Deal is a single-player fishing roguelite where every trip is a high-stakes puzzle. Read the weather, choose the right method, pair it with the perfect bait, and turn a few precious casts into profit while bosses, challenges, and strange waters keep rewriting the rules. Catch 100+ fish species from waters around the world, chase rare variants and valuable qualities, and make every cast count. Each run is a careful balance of planning, risk, and reward. You only get a limited number of casts and discards, so every decision matters. Adapt to shifting weather, dangerous destinations, and unexpected events that change the fish pool, raise the stakes, and force you to rethink your strategy on the fly. A smart setup can turn an average trip into a huge payday, but greed can sink a run just as quickly.Between trips, spend your earnings in the shop, open packs, collect new bait, gear, and consumables, and shape a stronger build for the waters ahead. Upgrade your boat, fill out your Fish Log and Encyclopedia, take on powerful bosses and optional challenges, and push deeper into the campaign before testing how far your build can survive in Endless mode.

A thumbs up for potential. Its an Early Access game, it could go in any direction. Currently in its state I have troubles enjoying it. They stated they will add meta progression down the line which a game like this desperately needs. The biggest gripe is not enough information. Its hard to navigate to find the little information there is. You have to go through multiple windows to find what baits specialize at and same for the fishing methods. It would be nice to just hover over cards and it pops up a tool tip showing preferred fish and method. I quite often get confused by the catch chance and pricing. "Recommended" methods with the right bait nets less value than using wrong methods with "Allowed" bait? Again, just information that needs to be made clear to the player. I also wish there was a way to determine what multipliers do what. Its just color coded with no way to tell what they multiply. It would be nice to hover over these things and get a deeper explanation as a tool tip.2 found this helpful
