About Fishing Mega-Game
Fishing Mega-Game is a fishing creature collector that's all about fighting fish to catch fish! You play as an angler who uses the fish they catch as bait for the next big one. Collect dozens of vibrant fish and unlock unique ability combinations to challenge the hordes of fish wishing to take the bait themselves.
Fishing and Surviving
While fishing, send your bait into a fishing hole full of hungry fish looking to weaken you until you are fully consumed. Combat this with an arsenal resembling an aquatic "bullet heaven" type of game. Level up, or find rare upgrades to power through the hordes of small fry before you arrive at the main catch. Deal enough damage to it and add it to your collection! This game takes inspiration from Vampire Survivors and Ridiculous Fishing.Explore a World Full of Fishing Spots
In order to find new fish, you'll need to explore new zones full of fishing spots, NPCs and upgrade shops. Discover new levels, unlock permanent upgrades and receive helpful hints from characters in the area.Custom Difficulty
Each fish has an alternate "shiny" version. After catching all fish in a level, you will unlock the ability to enchant the waters, giving you increased odds of finding a shiny fish. By increasing the difficulty of the level, the fishing fairy will increase the percent chance that you encounter a shiny fish!Over 60 Fish to Catch!

I really enjoyed my time with this game. A lot of the negative reviews here seem pretty pretentious. If you take your roguelike bullet hell games super seriously, maybe this isn't the game for you. However, as someone who generally enjoys cozy creature collector games, I found this game to be a fun, slightly challenging experience.2 found this helpful
This doesn't feel like an incremental game, or a proper vampire survivors spinoff game. It's fun for maybe 1 hour max. But then it just gets incredibly repetitive. The game adds a mechanic to make the challenge harder, which did help a bit. But with all of the mechanics in the entire game, it still feels like only 5% of the level of variety that the game would need. Mostly, it's lacking in game mechanics that evolve the gameplay. The weapons don't evolve like in VS. The chests don't feel impactful at all like in VS. The enemy variety is nonexistent. And, worst of all, the incremental gameplay build up isn't there at all. I could see this game becoming worth the $5 if there was a proper incremental "big number get bigger" or even just "gameplay changes along the way and gets really crazy" progression. As is, it's just something to waste time on if you want to do literally the same thing for a couple dozen hours. As is, I got 7 hours in and it had already stopped being fun a long time ago by then.2 found this helpful
I am obsessed with this game! Fishing Mega Game is a cozy creature collector where the objective is to catch a bunch of different fish and (optionally) their shiny variants. While I found the gameplay to be quite lacking, as you can just use the fish with the speed inherent ability to blow through the stage and catch the boss fish within a minute or two, the point of this game seems to be the hunt for the shinies. There is a way to raise the rare percentage to a base max of 40%, but if you hang out in the level for a few minutes until all of your upgrades are maxed out, you can then begin to raise the shiny chance with each level up. I only really did this once. The time it takes to get to this point is much, much slower than simply using your fast fish to get to the boss and check if it’s rare or not and annihilate it accordingly. You can’t really raise the rare chance in the boss gauntlet stages, but you will know if the final fish you catch is shiny or not if toward the end the fish change color. If they don’t, then it is the standard variety. My absolute favorite weapon ability in the game is the wave. It shoots out a multihit fast enough that it can push boss fish around and…1 found this helpful
Very fun game. Fishing in a bullet heaven is a really fun concept, and I love the fact you can get "Shiny" fish. Got it on Keymailer and been thinking about it since we played it. Need to get back in and 100% it at some point. Would really like to see more songs put in though, and just generally see the game get expanded on!1 found this helpful
Very fun! The freshwater stingray is my go to lure because of the scales that shoot out and it only gets better with upgrades as you go. Had a run where I had like 15 scales shooting out in all directions and ripple going too. No fish could get near me.1 found this helpful
I think this game is really fun, and an easy game for people to learn! My kids and I played this and they got hooked!!
