About REWIND

A film crew booked the penthouse hotel last night, and this morning the director was found dead in the pool.
You need to investigate the scene. First, determine if it's murder. If so, identify any suspects among those present. Finally, you need to reconstruct the events of the case.

《REWIND》 is a hardcore text-based detective puzzle game containing nearly a hundred clues. Players need to carefully examine and analyze these clues to find the answer.

Game Features:
Gameplay: Click-to-solve puzzles; easy to pick up, but very difficult.
Puzzle Design: An open world within a sandbox setting; minimal guidance, requiring players to actively explore.
Suitable for: Deduction enthusiasts who enjoy reading and analyzing text.
Game Duration: Approximately 90 minutes to complete without a walkthrough.

Serious Reminder!!!
During the testing phase, some players did not complete the game successfully, indicating its high difficulty and suitability for all players.
However, some testers who completed the game have given positive feedback, so players may need to make their own decisions.
If you encounter a stuck level, you can find walkthroughs on our bilibili channel; they will be released in advance.
Game guides will also be uploaded to the game community to help players avoid getting stuck.

An enjoyable detective mystery, if a little railroaded. But that's fine in its own way. Its two biggest issues are easily its translation and direction. The translation is somewhere below nominal. It has a translation, yes, but almost every line has Bizarre syntax Constantly and things are awlays mipselled. I'm sure someone could do a second-wave translation for free. The direction is a bigger problem mechanically. The first area you encounter has an NPC with dialogue options you can't select and another NPC who requests you bring them clues from the area, where there are none. These both make sense later on, but why are there dialogue options you can never select? After extensively trying to pair evidence with statements to no avail, I proceeded to do all available things in the game for about an hour before being walled... which lead to the realization that you CAN pair evidence with statements! And clicking on red statements to get more information isn't immediately apparent. The whole thing generally feels clunky and poorly explained. When you know what you can do, it is a lot more smooth. Also there is really no need for the AI content. When used for minor things it bord…

The game seemed interesting, but the English translation was filled with many errors, to the extent that it significantly detracted from my experience. I'd be happy to continue playing if the translation is ever improved.

The game is perfect for a small time enjoyment. The gameplay is not overly complicated, and with logic or some trying it is easily completable. It was advertised to be 90 minutes, but it can be done in less. I recommend for those, who likes these crimi-type stuff.

Short, pretty linear detective game. But it’s free. So it’s totally worth the money)

Nice short game, really enjoyed it! Looks great, sounds great too. Every footstep and creaking window has its own little audio detail, which I loved. Gameplay felt really fresh also – not something I've seen in detective games before. Did notice a few minor issues though: photos sometimes disappear too quickly (I barely had time to read the text), spelling errors, and occasionally tiny print for some lines. But honestly, these were minor and never got in the way. By the end, I was like "wait, that's it? I want more". If this ever gets expanded into a bigger game, I'm buying it!

Took about an hour, was fun, non-stressful and made me feel smart. I found it while looking for new games and was not disappointed! I liked the clues and how you find the evidence, I haven't seen it in many other true-crime/ mystery games but it's by far my favorite now that I,ve experienced it!
