Introducing Rodent Warriors: A sensational pixelated maze runner. Take control of your rodent warrior & battle hoards of animals from spiders to elephants; as you progress you will unlock other rodent warriors, each with their own abilities. You will enter each maze with a set quest to earn your prize. As you play you will collect materials from slain enemies for crafting, which allows you to upgrade your equipment at a steady pace as you play. These can also be upgraded with symbols you receive for beating some enemies. You will also collect the bones of the fallen, which are used in upgrading one of your four attributes. You will want to choose these wisely; as you progress through each level the animals become increasingly stronger. Low on health? A health upgrade will raise your max health and refill it instantly. The dark souls of kid-friendly games Developed by Kevin Smeltzer and Azucena Nuñez and being published under the game's title: Rodent warrior, this roguelike kid-friendly game really is a work of art from the game art to the music. The two developers seem to be very small but very interactive with the community they have a website and a discord group although the discord isn't listed anywhere as addition the discord seems to very much be dead but if you want to come into contact with the developer on a more personal note it's still a good idea to join their discord (https://discord.gg/hUvQ55K) as for the updates they seem to have halted beforehand there were updates on a weekly basis sometimes even a day after another but now it has been almost 2 months since the last one but then again they are a very small team they do however still seem to be taking feedback into account and also seem to have a big plan laid out for this early access title on their steam page it is stated that they will only be going out of early access when it's done which is maybe in a year time. they also stated that they think that the game is complete but they're not satisfied yet thus they keep it in earl…

Honestly, one of the best games I have ever played. Absolutely amazing 10/10. I implore anyone to give it a try you for sure won't regret it, I didn't.

Rodent Warriors is a 2D ARPG Roguelite: [list] [*] You move along the dungeon in a single line at any given time moving up and down to "rotate" your movement along the dungeon grid. [*] There's lots of randomized loot, crafting, and enemies have universal traits that dictate what they do along with random modifiers for tougher ones. [*] You start over on death, but do progress future characters' stats, gear, and knowledge in the in-game diary. [/list] So far, so standard, but what makes the game really stand out to me is the level of charm the game has from the sound effects and soundtrack to the visuals and story of the rodent kingdom trying to take over the world. There's a running theme of how everything is cutesy and lighthearted in contrast to just how violent and grim the premise is when you take a step back. If you need references to other media to get a good picture, think of Dungeons of Dredmor meets Happy Tree Friends with a hint of Rogue Legacy. My only gripes with the game are minor things like the occasional misspelling, how the character class select theme doesn't loop properly by fading into the background and then replaying from the start at full volume, or how …

Fun, addictive, full of potential. You have several characters that accumulate permanent bonuses for all classes upon death. You get stronger over time. 100 Steam achievements so far. Highly recommended game.

Fun game a bit repetitive but overall it's a good sit down and enjoy kind of game.
