[b] Rome Goes Rogue is one of the most chaotic, physics-infused, bite-sized and surprisingly fun rougelikes I've ever played! [/b] You would think that a game where everything is randomly generated and crap comes flying at your face faster than you can blink would get annoying, but it doesn't. Like I said, it's genuinely fun, which I think comes down to how powerful your moves are: your standard attack and invincible flying dodge roll give you enough movement capabilities and attack power to mow down enemies and zip through levels very easily IF you know how to use them correctly, so you retain some feeling of control and a capacity to increase your skill level while you play the game. That said, this part of the game is also the most frustrating for me. [u] The big issue is the dodge roll: [/u] it's super fast, makes you invincible while active, and easily blows through objects and enemies alike, but it bounces around like CRAZY when you hit a wall and goes insanely fast especially if you bump into a moving physics object. This becomes a problem when you try do a dodge roll for some precise platforming or to dodge an attack, but the dodge roll goes on for way too long and not in…1 found this helpful
