About Roots of Pacha
Roots of Pacha is a peaceful farming sim set in an ancient era where you gather resources, farm, craft tools, and build community bonds with your clan at your own relaxed pace. What sets it apart is its co-op gameplay, charming surprises hidden across diverse biomes, and the ability to shape your village's evolution while forging personal relationships and starting a family.

Weirdly enough I enjoy this game more than stardew and I haven't even romanced anyone yet! the stories are lovely, the farming is nice, and the progression feels good. it doesn't feel like I'm gaming to get a hit of dopamine or the best items. it feels nice just to discover the animals, the villagers and the prophecies. I guess my only complaint if at all is that the stamina feels very limited and the stamina recovery is a tad slow2 found this helpful
Out of all the games on my list, the characters in this game are so memorable and the artwork is so nice. The game play on top of it is so good. Just the nature and feel of the world is so soothing. While Stardew Valley has fighting in it, this game is more about collecting animals and getting their produce. The puzzles in it sometimes leaves me stumped. I really had an overall good time with this game. I still have plenty I can do.
Overall good game but very short. Hoping for big updates and maybe make it longer
After ~300 hours in Stardew I was looking for something new, and then I remembered I had Roots of Pacha in my wish list for over a year or two. Bought it last steam sale, and I am -completely- hooked. I get sucked into this game like I first got sucked right into Stardew years ago. It's the same type/genre of game, but it's so different and refreshing. A totally different vibe. More connection with the animals you encounter as well, and surprising minigames that don't bore me at all. I really recommend this game!! The only con I have found so far is (and this is probably just personal preference): the characters do seem to suffer a bit from same face syndrome. But that's literally all.
