Rumble Runners

If you love space and vaporwave like visuals that tickle your sensory needs, this is the game for you. I can't wait to experience the full potential as more people purchase the game as the best experience would be to play multiplayer. Although single player is very therapeutic. The music choice and the ability to change music that was added to an early access update make the experience more pleasurable, with it's trance-y/techno/electronic vibe, it fits the atmosphere perfectly. I LOVE THE CUSTOMISATION! Also the fact that you can use in game currency you can collect each race, no matter which type is very satisfying as you expand your collection of "Golem Parts" to design your own runner. Being able to build your own pieces and remove and add what kinds of paths you like really switches up the game play and will be especially interesting when you can join other hosts, as the paths they build will be your challenge. Making every race entirely unique. I did however experience some difficulty with the Path Creator as I didn't find it intuitive at first, but once you figure out the axis and how the placements work it becomes almost second nature. "Rumble Runners" is a very badly made "Cart racer" game with procgen tracks and wireframe "art" (some of the ugliest stuff I've seen for hours). Players race across randomly generated tracks, customizing their "Golem" with available parts and using a level editor to design their own paths... of course there's no players, for pretty obvious reasons. The graphics here are particularly awful, so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking games on Steam. Quite an accomplishment. It's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $6 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product.
