RPG Maker strikes again! Savior of Light is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. As if RPG Maker asset flips couldn't get any more cringey, this garbage RPG Maker asset flip is all about the developers imaginary girlfriend/waifu, and wow, the writing is so bad this would get the "developer" bullied by the other dropouts in the high school anime club they kicked him out of. That's seriously how bad and how cringe this is. As with all RPG Maker games, the poor quality engine displays badly in fullscreen and doesn't have full HD support or any graphics tweaking options, making this unacceptable for any dedicated modern PC gamer. The point can be made that the intention of RPG Maker is to make demos and small games to pass around friends, and shouldn't be used for "professional" game development. I got recommended by Facebook friends - Oakenai Six. (yes, she was my friend, not irl) She said that the game needs more tactic and strategy due to HARD and Challenging Difficulty as the game progress even further. So make sure you have perfect built and strategy, almost like other game like old RPG games. The graphic and OST is good. game-play is Challenging, so remember your moves and strategy to defeated the enemy. so i rate this game as 8/10 :) ((Also a Note: If need help, you need to chat to Oakenai Six on FB or Insta.))2 found this helpful

The end game calls this a "demo", but it is the longest demo I ever played. The store page calls it a prologue type game with more to come, but never did. Reminds me of the Eredia abandonment. But it is still worth playing if you can stand hard battles.
Pretty good game. It was both fun and challenging throughout the game. 7/10
