About Seeds of Resilience

Build a new village from scratch
Build a village on a deserted island, and prepare for merciless natural disasters! Learn to choose the right items, understand nature's patterns, use real medieval construction and craft techniques in this turn-based management game.

Features
- Turn based: Take all the time you need to plan your actions. When you're done, click the end turn button and start a new day.
- Detailed building construction: Choose natural resources according to their properties. Use them to craft the materials needed to assemble a building.
- Realistic medieval construction and craft techniques. Everything could be made in real life the same way.
- Observe the environment response to human activity. Maybe you should avoid fishing everyday at the same spot or cut down the whole forest.
- Survive in a harsh environment where storms and other natural disasters occur way too often.
Harvest, craft, build
Build your civilization step-by-step: From stone axes and stick shelters to waterwheel powered mechanized workshops! All with realistic technologies and constructions.

Inspired by real medieval techniques
We made extensive research about medieval construction and craftsmanship, as well as survival techniques. We simplified and balanced data to fit the game’s needs, while remaining consistent with how things work in real life.

This is a great Proof of Concept. Clearly, a lot of effort went into research for the game, but this project will never realize its potential. It suffers from classic first-time developer issues: the small team spent years re-doing the artwork, re-doing the User Interface, changing game engines, instead of focusing on gameplay. They got burnt out and decided to release in this state; a game with little progression and no story. I suppose this is a half-decent survival simulator, where you manage natural resources to ensure adequate food and shelter, but there's not a lot to do and there's very little replay value.13 found this helpful
I am disappointed that this is the first game I bought for 2025. It has complex mechanics and high-level difficulty. The game is punishing, stressful, and overwhelming! I first saw this game on the Switch, and it piqued my interest because I love management, survival, and crafting games. I figured I'd get it on PC instead since colony sims often have lots of texts and buttons to press. I just got frustrated with this one. I expected it to be more chill but even in sandbox mode, everything felt unbalanced.1 found this helpful
I loved this game. I loved me against the environment. It was not easy but that was part of the enjoyment in trying to figure out how to win each episode. I never could figure out the last episode but the game lets you progress regardless of that.
This is an indie survival game featuring crafting and several levels of single-player survival mode. I have played the game for many hours and enjoyed it. I don't find the game unbalanced or too difficult, although it takes some time to get oriented to what the game wants you to do. It's true that the game is no longer being updated but it's already a complete game with plenty of levels and an endless mode. If you enjoy indie games and/or survival island I highly recommend this game.

I like this game because it is more challenging then it seems at first. It definitely a strategy game to be careful what you have your characters because they only get so many hours of work per day.
