Selective Jump: Once Again With Feeling

I don't remember buying this. Apparently it was entirely rewritten recently and renamed and I also don't remember buying under the old name. 10/10 would buy and utterly confound my future self again.

[h1] Simple platformer that tries to hit that 8-bit spot but fails short into underground. Level design is not the best and for the first minutes you will die relentlessly. Another thing too many obstacles. One hit and you're dead. Music not the worst. Visuals again not that bad. Just the gameplay is not as good as it should be and after a couple of tries you will not want to continue this adventure. Just stick your fingers somewhere else and play something better. Cats included. [/h1]

(My playtime is misleading, I was playing without Steam for much of the game) Man this game really hit the spot! Between its cool art style and excellent level variety, I was always excited to see what would happen next with a lot of "wow, that was awesome" moments. The controls were a little unusual to me, and some levels would seem really tough at first, but then I'd figure something out to make the level more manageable which feels really satisfying. This is a hidden gem of a game for sure.

This was freakin wild, I definitely recommend giving this a shot, I don't really have words to explain it lol

Super bizarre arcade platformer, extremely unique and memorable. Easily a favourite in the genre.
