Summary: an educational game to help those that are starting to learn Japanese from the basics. About the: - Game: the purpose is to learn JP, but without VA in the hiraganas/ phrases, a reading only game, I believe the results will be short, at least some explication is easy to understand. - Gameplay: bad. Click the pause button to pause the BGM, otherwise will be a mess in the chapters (2 BGM running at same time). This isnt exactly a visual novel, haven't a proper dialogue, just a "teacher" (a girl that you can choose in the options) monologue showing about Japanese. In some store page screenshot, i cant find in the game. The flash card can be better. - Artwork: isnt bad. - Soundtrack: pleasant. - VA: partial? you can hear few VA like "nice to meet you" or "Hi" in JP. - DLC: will add new "teacher" to the game, basically will change the girl that is showing the Japanese to you. Conclusion: a game to learn Japanese from the basic, has a good premise, however, many things needs to be improved. For the contents offered, is too expensive, so better get in the sales.15 found this helpful
I don't think it helpful to the Japanese learners. like a English studying book what I bought when starting to study English almost treat you as a fool then talk about the game two bgms in the game one is the normal and the other is the vocaloid miku's song this make a lot of noise there is even no pronounce you put the wrong code "0" to the "ぜ" instead of the correct "ze"8 found this helpful
Really enjoying this game so far, the cutesy art style and calming music is awesome. You get to learn a language while talking to cute anime girls, what's not to love?3 found this helpful
Wish it's not really done by a Japanese as they are mostly honest people. There is no sound of lecture at all, only few random talk and unmutable loud music. The only selling point is keep on changing default character and you have to keep purchasing DLC to keep the character (only one graph) you like.1 found this helpful
Nice idea to teach hiragana. I miss to learn different fonts, I miss to learn how to write (correctly). The exercise also could be easier, for example an overview of what we have learned, repeat the learning session and so on.
