About Shepherd's Crossing

life On A sandbox Ranch, Begins Again.

Players are entrusted with a single box garden (ranch), which they use to raise animals and crops.
There is no money, and animals and crops are bartered.
Although a main storyline exists, the ultimate goal is entirely up to the player.
Hitsuji-mura" is such a different kind of boxyard ranch simulation that pursues the fun of increasing what you want and creating the landscape of your choice. Less than 20 years have passed since the original "Welcome to Sheep Village.
Now, "Sheep Village" is back with a variety of new elements.

Bugs ruin this PC port. This game was wonderful when I was a kid, and it still is. Easily one of the best farming games to be made. However, by the gods the amount of PC bugs cannot be counted, this is a very poor port which is being dubbed as a remaster. The biggest and most egregious bug is the random freeze and crashes that riddle this game. In short, for nearly $50, this game is a poor attempt at a nostalgia-based cash grab. A crying shame really.

I am very sorry to say this, but this experience was very both disappointing in delivery and nearly impossible to play without lag spikes and settings errors. I did not want to believe the other reviews, and thought I would give this "remastered version," a shot, but the reviews were unfortunately correct. This game, while very nostalgic & dear to my heart, ended up being nostalgia bait with a climatic upcharge of nearly thirty dollars. When opening the configuration screen in order to change my window to full-screen, the language is set by default to Japanese. Inconvenient, but not the end of the world. The problem arose when after changing the screen size, everything began crashing and my controls starting bugging out, making the game jittery. I'm sorry to say but this is not worth the thirty dollar listing. I loved this game as a kid and wish the quality could have translated the same ten years later :(

Have loved this game since i was a kid grinding for hours on my PS2. So i don't have a TON of hours yet i have 100+ hours on the PS2 and always find myself coming back to this game for a nostalgia trip. I highly recommend using a controller while playing because i personally dont find the controls very intuitive and easy on keyboard. I hope that its fixed in the future.

I love shepherds crossing and the 2nd as well from DS, but the official port being 30 euros and has horrible controller presets including KBM being awful is just super odd. also doesnt update visually so you will always see controller input instead of what you assigned. so thats why its a downvote :D

Great. Plays well on rig ally..but game changes have made finding some items hard to find. Tsuchinoko, Poitevin dog, bronze rare statue and an additional 20 diary entries are hard to find and there's no walkthrough , as all past walkthroughs are for psp/ps2 version of the game and while they cover most of the game there is some stuff changed. Game is still a lot of fun but if you want to get all the achievements or over 80 percent of them you aren't in luck. Game needs a walkthrough and it has some bugs. I had to change language to Japanese. for the first fox hunt to pass it and I struggled to reunite the squirrels. Would I recommend? Yes , its still. playable and a lot of fun. Better suited for gamepads and achievement. hunting is fun but not recommended. to 100 percent due to lack of walk through at this time.

Not really what I expected… 💔 I was hoping to feel nostalgic playing this on Steam, but honestly, it didn’t hit the way I thought it would. The game has noticeable stuttering, and using a controller feels pretty much mandatory. Surprisingly, it runs way better on a PSP or PS2 emulator... so unless you're collecting achievements or just want it in your library, there's really no need to get the Steam version... but I do recommend playing shepherd crossing
