This is an A-Tier shmup but there are some things you need to know to fully enjoy it (in order of importance): 1) The way [b]DX9[/b] was implemented in this game seems to cause all kinds of problems on modern Windows setups, up to and including making it completely unplayable. Basically, this will translate all the problematic DX9 API calls into Vulkan, making the game run perfectly smoothly. If you are running Proton on SteamOS or another linux distro, you don't have to worry about this step, because this translation layer is already included by default. tl;dr yeah just dont first of all, the game has a myriad of technical issues; it only supports 60Hz displays which is honestly fine so long as it means it doesn't run at over double the speed if you have a monitor with 120Hz or more. the game has no rebindable controls. there's two presets, and if you don't like them, too bad. given that games OLDER than this have rebindable controls thanks to emulators, it feels like a comically out of touch oversight to not have rebindable controls, ESPECIALLY if your default controls are some wack ass ♥♥♥♥ that literally no other game uses (ASD instead of ZXC?? shoot is on X equivalent instead of Z????) i can't play past the first stage, it consistently crashes with "Runtime Error! Program: ...SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Sine Mora EX\SineMoraEX.exe. This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. I suffered trough it. It looks nice with the gorgeous 3D graphics, but everything else is off. Gameplay, storytelling, mechanics, fairness, pacing, overcomplication of simple things all pretty bad. Anyway you can't really look at the gorgeous 3D graphics because you have to evade 100 billion bullets and need your attention glued to 10 cm around you ship. Even after finishing it I'm not really sure whether getting hit is bad somehow? Doen't seem like you are supposed to dodge all the bullets because that is ****king impossible. Collect enough primary weapon power up's and it's easy (because final bosses only last 2 seconds then). Got a very fair pice on it, but this is not a good shmup.

enjoyed sky force and games like gatling gears but just cant enjoy this, graphics nice controls good, gameplay difficult for me , no slow build up, just overwhelmed with to much going on, not for me, sur some people enjoy it but right from the start its to hectic for my liking.

Kind of a boring horizontal shooter. If you're obsessed with this style of game, you'll probably still love it, but it doesn't really bring anything new to the table and the co op is kind of an afterthought.

This is one of the better shooters I've played in a long time fortunately for me it runs perfectly on my machine. One of the biggest selling points for me is this game can be controlled entirely with a mouse which makes for a whole new experience. I have not played the original I will be playing that next to compare. The graphics are amazing, the music the sound effects etc. it can be extremely difficult with some of the bullet hell sequences but with all the options you're given here and the quality you're getting from this it's a solid thumbs up for me.
