About Skulltide
Journey into lands dying and dead to collect black magic grimoires and prolong the Skulltide, so that all skeleton-kind may evade the Grim Reaper forevermore! Grapple with magic that would kill any mortal mage (you die too, you just reanimate). Wield blades renowned through all the lands (taken from the corpses of their former wielders).
Throw your bones, raise the dead, lose your head, and find it again!
- Local and Online Co-op, or both at once!
- Mix-and-match abilities tied to your bones. Gain and lose them all!
- Limbs, skulls, ribs... If you can't find your own, raise some new ones!
- Collect the spells of those raised, the blades of those killed, and the bodies of those fallen!
- Endless combinations and possibilities, creating a high skill ceiling!
- Casual to pick up, but with endless build and run combinations.
Among all the dead who rise to join the Skulltide, there may be heroic queens and formidable warlocks, there might even be a hero fighting alongside the bones of a killer. However, all are equal before the altar of death! Work together to evade the Grim Reaper, before the Skulltide's Entropy and Chaos puts an end to your run! However long you survive, losing will always mean you come back stronger.

- Build classes with sets of abilities taken from enemies, and lose them when you fall.
- Each death returns to the crypt with more black magic Grimoires in this roguelite!

The days of the living have come to an end, the Skulltide has begun! The dead have risen from every grave, to either hasten the end or live immortal through it all! As the final sun sets, it is not simple zombies that come from every graveyard, crypt, and burial mound; it is the souls of those already taken by death who return to their long-lost bones. Many are mad and will turn against you, others will join as necromantic allies, and you may even encounter the last gasps of life, not yet taken by Death.
If life should fail, unlife will prevail.

Cool concept but the game has bugged out on me for multiple runs and I'm only 2.9 hours into this game. I might give it one more try later but so far: 1) My portal bugged after beating a level and using the portal to go back to the start and upgrade. After, upgrading and trying to leave, my portal to leave bugged and caused me to die of fall damage. 2) One of the levels has a huge number of sarcophagi, and after opening a bunch I got stuck inside of one and could no longer move; Also that level cause FPS drop issues. 3) The starting portal loaded a new level and then didn't let me enter through the portal, preventing me from going to the next level. I've only played about 4 or 5 rounds and over half of them failed because of bugs. I understand it's a rogue-like and you tend to start over a bunch but I can only assume it's going to get worse the more I play. Maybe i'm unlucky or something but I'll wait on playing more for now.1 found this helpful
I like the art style and overall concept. There's a bunch of lore and world building and throwing your own body parts to kill enemies is awesome.1 found this helpful
i finally get to play as a skeleton which really is all i ever wanted, and this is all about skeletal shenanigans but then there's also weirdly profound moments? but most importantly you can yeet your own cranium as an attack and that's the single most incredible thing i didn't know i wanted but now will miss in every other game i play1 found this helpful
It seems really goofy and fun if it would work, but it keeps crashing whenever a level's supposed to load. Now joining multiplayer games also just stopped working altogether. This game seems really buggy, sadly.
Great for necromancy fans looking for skeletal gameplay! Not a soulslike, but engaging, still! A must-try for any who love a dark fantasy atmosphere.
