About Slice&Dice
Slice & Dice is a puzzle game where the objective is to place the die in the goal frame. Using realistic physics, the player can move the die by affecting the cubes within the environment through a variety of actions like slicing and destroying them. It’s a party game that players and viewers alike can enjoy!
Currently we have 100 stages and more than 20 hours play time for average players.
Slice & Dice is a VR puzzle game where the objective is to place the ‘Dice’ into the ‘Dice hole’. The player can find the ‘Dice hole’ on the floor of each stage. There are various kinds of ‘Cubes’ and different cubes have various physical properties. The dice is stacked on the cubes and the player must solve the puzzles and cut through the cubes to move the dice into the dice hole. As the player progresses through each stage, the number of the floors within the stage increases.
This game provides enjoyment not only to the player but thanks to the cooperative nature of solving puzzles, also the viewers will enjoy it through advice and coaching as there are multiple ways to solve the levels.

What an adorable and well made puzzle game! Slice&Dice is a physics puzzle in the tradition of Cut the Rope (the real one, not the cheap clone avaliable for VR). That concept is magnified here, because you can cut whole surfaces producing a tridimensional domino effect trying to push the dice into the escape hole, and maybe even other items to collect. From the technical point of view, the game uses low poly untexturized assets with a good polishing and style, where it really excels is the soundtrack, a sort of Taito inspired collection of 8 bit tunes. Game's description indicates 100 levels and 20 hours, I'm updating my overall time as I'm stuck at 97/100 just now: still 20 hours seems a lot, but I'm at 9 hours and the length depends almost only on your skills and your intuition, the last dozen is a real nightmare to beat. Level design here is a thing, any single stage need to be understood in his logic or has a role in teaching you a new mechanic. In last chapters you're going to see also multi floor rooms and very Portal style kind of puzzles. This is a nice puzzle game which fits VR very well. Many problems require that you walk/teleport around and find the correct angle to apply your cutting tools. However at least for me it presents a steep learning curve: the first 32 levels were doable easily with a four star rating. Level 33 was hard and with a lot of trial and error I solved it just to be stuck at level 35 without a glue. The game offers 100 Levels and for me it seems that people loving hard puzzles will have a very good time while others might get frusted and leave the game. Update: With the first update they took care of my notes (see blow) and for me the game is now perfectly enjoyable! Furthermore I figured out how to solve the next few puzzles and this gives a nice satisfaction (and for me there are still 60 more levels to be solved...) Notes from my original review: Two additional notes: 1) While the music is ok, it is not my taste and I would prefer to have an option to turn it off. 2) I play with the Vive in roomscale and I understand that the game tries to offer many styles of movement, but for me it is anoying that teleport also allows for turning and thus requires me to rotate the press on the touchpa…2 found this helpful
